Yeah my mom was so skinny when she got married and well I wasn't so even if I would've liked it it would not have fit!

My mother weighed 89 lbs when she got married. There was no way that her gown would have fit me. I think I fit into it in 6th or 7th grade :rotfl: :rotfl:

Love the dresses, especially the color. And your cake looks exactly like one of my girlfriend's wedding cake. She got married on Emma's 3rd birthday and when Emma walked into the reception hall she took one look at the cake and turned to me and said "Wow mom, Thanks for my cake!" Her eyes were popping out of her head. There is no way any birthday party I throw or have thrown for her could compare to that day. She really thought it was her birthday party! :rotfl:

Ok, I thought I would share a few pictures from my wedding. It was a blast! Looking back, it the styles look so dated, compared to how modern weddings have now become.

Here's my cake. It was white with the raspberry filling.

My girls and I. The back of the bridesmaid dresses was open down to the waist, with rows strands of pearls dangling from shoulder to shoulder. That's what those appliques are that you see on the front, they hold the pearls. I wish I had a picture of the backs.

Thanks Theresa, that's why I haven't been here much. As soon as the kids go down for a nap I take a quick cat nap and then I have been in bed by 9pm everynight this week.

Robyn I feel bad that your sinuses are a wreck!!! Please slow down and take care of yourself and that new DDA munchkin. :goodvibes

Yep, that's what my dr told me.

I was just kidding on the prediction. I am secretly hoping for another girl. It's not uncharted territory. Although Eric and my dad would be devastated!

I hope you are feeling better soon, Robyn. If I'm not mistaken, hormone fluctuation can cause sinus problems. I vaguely remember something about that from my pregnancies. And don't be too quick to write it off that you are having a boy. Both of my pregnancies were identical and I have one of each!

Very nice. Did you get married in the early 90s. I remember those styles from when I got married. That was a popular cake style then too

Deb
Yep, 93.

And thanks for all of the compliments.

Robyn - your pictures are beautiful!

Glynis - Flat Stanley arrived today! When does he need to be back? Has he been to WDW?

Robyn I love your pictures, maybe I won't post any  Mine are not very good compared to everyone elses.

I love the story about Emma's birthday, how cute!

Ok I have a story made, it is corny :rotfl: But how do you make images for your character, I am stumped :confused3

I'm thinking of having the boys come up with ideas and a story. I can create the images for them although Nick will probably want to create his own. If they come up with something good I'm sure that Chris would submit it. I have a few ideas of my own  The kids only have a half day today so they will be home in about an hour.

Cassidy and Abi's birthday is May 14th we've had some doozies of birthdays. Highs in the 80's, snowing....we even had one where we wore winter coats to church in the morning(with a little flurry) and by the time we went to a concert that evening we were in shorts.

My birthday is May 18th (and Miles is May 16th), and it's the same thing here. The weather would be great so my mom would plan an outdoor party and by party day we had snow. We flew home from Disney on my birthday in 2002 to several inches of snow. It was so depressing to not only leave Disney (and sunny FL) on my birthday, but to come home to that!

I'm going to cut and paste parts of a Disney Character to a real person from the era I select. You know like Ariel's head on Lucille Ball's body for example (I'm not really doing that, but it would work ;) ) Then I'll come up with a story around my images. I need to steal the desktop back from Nick to work on mine.

No lotions, when its that bad use an antibiotic cream.

I have been rubbing neosporin on it since I am home, but only had aloe at work, so I used what I had. The tissues are 3 ply aloe and vitamine e lotion.

Beautiful, Tammi!

And here is a little pixiedust: for healthy kids! I can't wait to hear how they respond to the surprise trip!

Thanks Deb!

More please!!!!!!

I'll go look at my book later & scan some in of Dana & I.

Thanks for the comments on the pictures! Beth, one of Emma's friends mom made the comment that our wedding photos looked more like prom photos.

I have a question for you all...I have been calling around to different places for Molly's birthday party and the one place that I really want to have it at, it's a petting farm and such (this is the pumpkin patch we went to in the fall), charges $8.50 per kid for the petting farm, a hayride and a pony ride and 2 hours at a reserved spot. Now at first that seems like a great deal but then they want to charge me for each adult who attends the party as well. I can maybe understand charging for some of the parents who will want to accompany their kid into the petting farm and hayride. But to charge for say like the grandparents and people who don't have kids to just sit there seems a little crazy to me. Has anyone run into this? I have never had a place charge for the adults.
