Oh, that reminds me. I received Nicky from Karen. Although he won't get to go to WDW he should be here for my ultrasound!!

Is he old enough for that?

I am loving all the wedding pictures. I will have to dig ours out and scan them to share. They are O L D...

Here is my wedding party. On the far left is Michael's (dh) sister and her then boyfriend (now ex-husband). My aunt (my mom's baby sister and one of my best friends) was my matron of honor. I'm sad to say that she lost a battle with breast cancer in 1998. My brother is the best man. The other bridesmaid was my best friend from 5th grade on. Unfortunately, I've lost touch with her. The last groomsman is my uncle (my mom's youngest brother).

Those dresses definitely look dated! We couldn't find anything that really suited the different ages and sizes. We were also working on a fairly tight budget for my sister-in-law and friend, so we ended up making the dresses.

Robyn I have never had to pay extra for adults at a child's party. Maybe it is because it is a petting zoo & the adults can participate in the activities as well?

I have a question for you all...I have been calling around to different places for Molly's birthday party and the one place that I really want to have it at, it's a petting farm and such (this is the pumpkin patch we went to in the fall), charges $8.50 per kid for the petting farm, a hayride and a pony ride and 2 hours at a reserved spot. Now at first that seems like a great deal but then they want to charge me for each adult who attends the party as well. I can maybe understand charging for some of the parents who will want to accompany their kid into the petting farm and hayride. But to charge for say like the grandparents and people who don't have kids to just sit there seems a little crazy to me. Has anyone run into this? I have never had a place charge for the adults.

Gorgeous, Elin! Those styles bring back warm and happy memories.

I looked at my parents' wedding photos all the time growing up. I honestly thought for the longest time that wedding photos were always shot in black and white, not thinking of the fact that they were married in 1962. I think I'm going to convert a couple of ours to black and white.

We had a dusting, and they cancelled school.

We have this strange white stuff on the ground and falling from the sky. I think that I vaguely remember it. We're not supposed to get much, though, so no school delays/closings here.

I'm driving to Corning to meet my parents and return their dog as long as the weather up there way is good for driving. I haven't heard from them yet this morning.

Maybe they are being quick to call it, because there haven't been any snow days yet? We have a dusting that is sticking to the grass, but our roads have been clear all day.

Thanks, Anne Marie. The flowers aren't really bad, it's just that I had this "vision" that they didn't fit into.
