I think we should try for meeting up at Fantasmic, that sounds like fun. I am so unsure of where we are eating right now but I do know for sure that we will be at Fantasmic.

Sounds good! I think we will probably do the FDP at Hollywood & Vine, but if you guys decide not to do the package we can all sit together in some section other than the reserved one. DS will really enjoy having your kids to talk to while we wait for the show.:)

Jen - I am so glad to hear Grandma is home! That is pretty remarkable!:thumbsup2 And since you were the first to ask for the Regis coupon it is yours! I'll drop it in the mail to you.:)

okay that is all the pictures. sorry if I bored any of you. Karen had asked for some and I guess I got carried away.

Jennifer - Your grass looks VERY icy! And your DH reminds me of Woody Harrelson.:)

I have to go in an hour early tomorrow because Momboss has an early meeting and Dadboss did eventually make it to Denver today. Hopefully it won't be too slippery in the morning!

Some spokesman for DISD was on the news (and it just ran again on TXCN) trying to defend their decision to stay open today. The reporter said "So even if the road conditions deteriorate you stay open just because you already decided to stay open?" It was pretty funny, and the DISD guy got snarky. DH heard on the radio that about 75% of the kids were absent today!

> As a man approached, she extended her hand for the ticket and he opened his trench coat and flashed her. Without missing a beat, she said, "Sir, I need to see your ticket not your stub."

> A truck driver was driving along on the freeway. A sign comes up that reads, "Low Bridge Ahead." Before he knows it the bridge is right ahead of him and he gets stuck under the bridge. Cars are backed up for miles. Finally, a police car comes up. The cop gets out of his car and walks to the truck driver, puts his hands on his hips and says, "Got stuck, huh?"
> The truck driver says, "No, I was delivering this bridge and ran out of gas."

> A college teacher reminds her class of tomorrow's final exam.
> "Now class, I won't tolerate any excuses for you not being here tomorrow. I might consider a nuclear attack or a serious personal injury, illness, or a death in your immediate family, but that's it, no other excuses whatsoever!"
> A smart-*** guy in the back of the room raised his hand and asked, "What would you say if tomorrow I said I was suffering from complete and utter sexual exhaustion?"
> The entire class is reduced to laughter and snickering. When silence is restored, the teacher smiles knowingly at the student, shakes her head and sweetly says,
>
> "Well, I guess you'd have to write the exam with your other hand."

Jennifer, I think your attempts at sledding are absolutely hilarious. I don't know about Texas but sledding usually involves some kind of incline in Michigan! Not to mention more than a 1/4 inch of snow & ice. :lmao: I give Olivia credit for trying though.

My kids went out again today. Colby might have been out there for 10 minutes before he fell on his face and skinned his nose. Needless to say they all were hauled in at that point. Everything is icy, calcium chloride doesn't even melt the ice on the porch as it it so cold. The boys pointed out to me that I have ice crystals growing inside the car on the ceiling. :confused3

My three boys wanted to play outside, but all we had was ice. They suited up in most of their ski wear and went out. Here's a picture of them:

They were all adorable! We are all getting a kick out of you (especially Olivia) enjoying the snow and ice.

Cute pics, Jennifer and Marci!

Glad to hear your grandma is home, Jen. That is so wonderful!

Well, today has been pretty productive, but I still have some more things to do - I did laundry, finished packing up all the Christmas stuff and hauling it back to the attic, and now I need to go finish picking up because the maid comes tomorrow. Then, I think we may watch "Little Miss Sunshine."

Stay warm!

Jen this is wonderful news!

just wanted to let you guys know..my grandma is home!!! We just drove an hour to visit her and she looks..okay..
She thanked her doctor for saving her life and he held her hand and said they wreent sure they would be able to, but hes glad he did!

Cute pics, Jennifer and Marci!
Linsday -- I knew you would like the color and logo!

I love the hats :thumbsup2

Those are their rasta hats. Andrew has one too but didn't wear it. I originally bought them for them to ski in, but forgot about their helmets....so now we have cute helmet covers with soft spikes on them and they wear these after skiing.

Thanks for the compliments!

I need some help please :)

Riley's class is making family trees & we need to make one on a small poster board. Some of the kids at school have drawn flowers & put the names on the petals & 1 child drew a castle. I need to think of something different for our family tree for Riley.

I am not very good at this, so any help will be appreciated. The teacher said it can be hand drawn or something from the computer, it just needs to be creative.
Janet - how about doing something along the lines of AK's Tree of Life?

Jennifer I enjoyed looking at your pictures. Olivia looks like she is having a wonderful time.

Marci love the picture & your dh hat :rotfl:

It's obvious that you all don't usually have this kind of weather, since you are using cardboard to sled with! :rotfl2: Cute pictures. At least Olivia is having fun.
