I saw avertisied that Velveta now has a cheese that is made with 2% milk. Hopefully you can figure out ways to make these recipes lowfat so you can enjoy them.
Or do you have any great low fat recipes to share?
Hi Jennifer!
I am so
not a cook! I do make pretty much the same thing when I am on Weight watchers though. I broiled chicken breast with seasoning. Once done I use it from everything to low fat caesar salad, lo fat cobb salad, also put sauteed onions & red peppers on top with lot fat cheddar or american, or curried chicken salad (light mayo, dash of curry powder & cubed chicken).
I have a nice jello pie that is 3 points per slice.
2/3 cup boiling water
1 pkg. (4-serving size) Sugar Free JELL-O ANY Flavor Gelatin
Ice cubes
1/2 cup cold water
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP FREE Whipped Topping, thawed
1 Graham Pie Crust (reduced fat) (6 oz.)
STIR boiling water into dry gelatin mix in large bowl at least 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add enough ice to cold water to measure 1 cup. Add to gelatin; stir until slightly thickened. Remove any unmelted ice. Add whipped topping; stir with wire whisk until well blended. Refrigerate 15 to 20 min. or until mixture is thick enough to mound.
SPOON into crust.
REFRIGERATE at least 4 hours or overnight until firm. Store leftover pie in refrigerator.
I make this pie in strawberry, lime, lemon, black cherry, all with graham crust. Its also good with raspberry jello & chocolate graham crust.
