hey Karen we are taking pictures. I will post some later.

That's good because we expected snow and ended up with freezing rain. Those of us in Vermont have forgotten what snow looks like :rotfl: :rotfl: I've been wondering who to sell our snowmobiles to as we may never need them again. I guess I need to make Texas my target area :lmao:

:bored:
What is everyone having for dinner? We are having a Wonder chicken, mashed potatoes, corn and gravy.

yeah sure as we get maybe 2 inches every 3 years or so.:rotfl:

I have not even thought about it.

I made soup sat. but we did not eat it then,
I ground hamburger meat, then put it in a pot and added corn, potatos and bean then some seasoning. Jeff and I had some for lunch so we might have it or frito pies.

Hey! How come I get the 4 kids?!?!? :confused3 I "would" take them though. I miss kids around the house...

I handle sibling rivalry pretty well since there are many classes I teach with siblings that I have to deal with. Send 'em along and I will send 'em back after they are whipped into shape. :rotfl2:

That's the best thing I've heard. You do all the work, and I get the great kids!

Actually, they're not too bad. Jacob is just feeling pretty put upon that he's the only boy. When the girls start up on him, it's pretty tough. Add to that, the fact that he's not allowed to hit them, makes it hard.

Hello, All!

Jennifer - I can not believe your weather is so much worse than ours! How weird is that? It is just REALLY cold here - temps in the 20's.

Marci - Continued hugs for you!:grouphug:

Jen- I hope your day is going well!!

Brother & I are off to pick up Sister shortly. I need to swing by the grocery but there isn't anything THAT important on the list. I think it can wait until tomorrow when I won't have the kids with me.

It was 26 over night it is 28 now

Same problem for Bill...he couldn't get his car open until after noon today. One of the best things I bought myself was one of those automatic starters. Works wonders!!

Good afternoon everyone!

I was 1/2 hour late to work this morning. The doors on both our vehicles were froze, I am just not having luck with winter this year :rolleyes1

It is cold, but at least the sun is shining!

Jennifer - I am still just boggled about your weather!

Jen - Glad you survived!

No clue what's for dinner. I have that meeting about the Middle School until 8 PM so I guess DH and DS will eat without me. I'll have to make a little extra of whatever I make for Brother & Sister so I can have a bite with them.

ENABLER ALERT:
I went to JC Penney today and they have an extra 40% off sale prices. I got DS a Nike T-shirt for less than $6.

I also found pins at the Disney Store for $2!:yay:

it was..okay..
The teacher is nice ...I dont know how ill be able to do all the work and im still petrified...Im EXHAUSTED...But i guess it could be worse, but gotta do it!

Today will be the worst day. Each day after today will get a little bit better. You will become more confident with each moment. I promise.

Now, the exhaustion...that's another story. I'm afraid that you will be exhausted every day. That's just the nature of teaching.

Thanks Glynis--its good to know each day will get better!!
Im used to the exhaustion, i think its just worse because i didnt sleep good last night..

All my friends have been calling and were comparing stories--im glad they are feeling the same way i am, then i KNOW its normal! We will get through this..the next 4 months will go quick, right?!

Jen - It will go fast! DS's first semester this year FLEW! Make sure you get plenty of rest and keep up on your vitamins - those little kids are germy. DS saw something (either on TV or in a magazine) that a school desk has WAAAAY more germs/bacteria than a toilet. How gross is that? Wash those hands!! That's why we gave DS's teachers anti-bacterial soap and gel for Christmas.;)
