Oh, my Bagallini came today. It is a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be, which is a good thing!

When I got home from work tonight the kids were running around the house wearing their disney crocs. I am so ready for our trip!!

I'm trying to decide if I want to make shirts or not. I guess if I do I had better start looking through everyone's design galleries.

Hey, never saw any scouts selling cookies last year. :(
Wonder if there will be any this year?
I want thin mints damn it! (hope you all don't mind my sewaring)

ABC Baker. The Lemonades look interesting but the low fat lemon ones last year were really good and the Lemonades are certainly NOT low fat.

I wish Lizzy's troop would do it without prizes. I would think they could use the money more than we could use the prizes.

The Lemonades are pretty good but not low fat.

This is the first year our council is offering it and it is only availble for the Middle and High School grade troops. Who knows what we will have next year, because as of May 1, 2007 three of the local councils are merging.

what are everyones plans for this weekend.
House cleaning is much needed!!!! Tree is down but not everything put away. I know my "old" camera (its 1 1/2 years old) came home from WDW as Joe was showing DH some photos he took when he got home but I haven't seen it since Dec 17th. I'm hoping to find that.

I need to balance my checkbook and pay bills.

We're planning on going to the Baptism for my Great Niece on Sunday but we'll have to keep an eye on the weather.

I have ABC, we'll be finishing up our booth sales in March, been taking orders since December.
I didn't know Lizzy got the form when I was in WDW. DH put it away nice and safe but didn't tell me she had it. Forms are due back 2 weeks from yesterday and cookies are to be delivered the last week in Feb.

How much are you cookies? Ours are $4/box. Some other councils are less-$3.50 or $3.75.

i do i do
What do you want?

No plans for the weekend, John does have this Sat. off though.

Do you have a Disney Store near you? Those $3.49 shirts were really nice.

Maybe they can't get past the guard.

I'll mail you some.

What did the Brownies sell?

I need to sign Lizzy up for some booth sales too.

Well, we just got off the phone with the hospital--no change, but she is still getting blood transfusions, as she lost a lot of blood with the 2nd surgery.
I am supposed to have a dentist appontment at noon tmorrow but im going to call as soon as i wake up and see if i can cancel it without the last minute fee, due to the circumstances..i dont know if they will budge on it, but its worth a try. If that works, i will be at the hospital for alot of the day, im sure..i am babysitting at 530, unless things with Grandma change.
Thanks again for your prayers, thoughts and support

Do I have to come and bust down the security gate to sell you cookies??:confused3 :confused3 Just joking, I'm suprised you didn't see any at a booth anywhere.

How much are you cookies? Ours are $4/box. Some other councils are less-$3.50 or $3.75.

What do you want?

Ours are $3.50 a box, but I would rather have orders go to someone who actually has a girl in a troop.

What did the Brownies sell?

I need to sign Lizzy up for some booth sales too.
Nuts and Cookies

Brownies and Juniors sell cookies they are not eligible for the $1.00 per box incentive, although some leaders would rather have that instead of 65 cents a box and prizes.

First, Elizabeth, thank you for posting! it was nice to finally talk to you on the phone, but i wish it was under different circumstances!!! and thank you to everyone for the prayers and good thoughts..my family really needs them tonight

After i posted that she was out of the OR, my mom and i were at home and around 4 or so, i got a phone call from my grandfather that my grandma was taken back into the OR--He didnt know what was going on, so my mom went straight to the hospital, and i waited for my dad to get home from work (about 20 min later) to go with me. This is when i called Elizabeth, because i knew my grandma could use all the prayers she could get.

This is what happened...My grandfather was talking to her and she said she had trouble breathing and then started to wheeze..By the time my grandfather got a nurse, grandma was unconscious...They needed to intubate her and took her straight to the OR..Apparently,a blood clot and alot of swelling caused everything to go crazy and she suffered alot of the complications. When she came out of the OR, the surgeon told us they were going to keep her sedated from teh time we left until at least tomorrow morning- Her throat has some damge to it due to the multiple difficult intubations. My mom went in to see her and she reached for my moms hand and opened her eyes when she heard my moms voice.
Right now, we are still looking at alot of potential complications..They are checking into the possiblilty of stroke, heart attack, or heart problems due to the complications.

That is all i know for now--my mom is calling the nurse at 10pm for an update, and we will be back at the hospital at 11--right now, its just very scary--i apprecaite ALL of the prayers and good thoughts

Oh Jen :grouphug: I'll keep praying!!

My parents didn't really talk about it except to make sure I knew that pre-marital S E X was not to be tolerated in their eyes and I knew the mechanics from mom making me read a book. They made me afraid of it basically. Not the way I wanted to handle it with my kids. I explained the reasons to them that they should wait - the emotional side of things. Then I spent a lot of time praying!

Hey you got more than me....I didn't even get the mechanics. :confused3
I figure the mechanics could wait...I went into the emotions and consequences more than anything else with Cassidy...still trying to figure out how to talk to Abi.

I hope you are able to cancel your appt. so you can be with your family.

Heidi your a funny funny girl!!:rotfl2:

We've gotten a dusting....more in the mountains and plains....but it's COLD!!!:cold:

there is actually a slight chance of snow in our forecast for tues or wed. I am sure it will melt very fast

Bernadette - Oh, my post wasn't very clear! I meant the coffee maker was the best thing at AKL! They don't have frozen Cokes there. But I have rarely seen the frozen Coke machine at Pop actually function. It is usually recharging, so no matter where they have one if it isn't working it isn't much good!

Jen - I hope your grandma is finished with complications!:wizard: It was very nice to talk to you, even though it wasn't under the best circumstances.:)

Tia - That is truly an amazing story. The other night when I was reading my tax guide from the IRS I was looking at the photos of those kids and thinking there really isn't much chance that they will be found after so many years. At least it does happen once in awhile!

Vicki - I was never a girl scout. We moved so much when I was growing up it seems like whenever I was interested there wasn't a troop in our area. Both of my younger sisters were in Brownies, but not Scouts.

DH made pasta and meatballs for dinner, so none of us will starve. He is in a pissy mood because Toad is coming back to work. She is going to ride along with him on Tuesday. I have said all along that she is NOT going to go away quietly, she is not going to resign, she is going to keep coming back so she can continue to draw disability payments. Even if she only works ONE day, if she goes back out it counts as a new occurance so the calendar resets for how long they have to keep her position open. Stupid, stupid.:sad2:

Glad you got something to eat!!

Dumb Toad, Dumb Toad!!!

I was a girl scout in most of the places we lived....my mom got us kicked out of on troop...I am sure it was just a disagreement between her and the troop leader but all I remember is wanting to go back and she said we couldn't
