i hope i will be able to post tomorrow after i get home--if anything changes, i do have some dda phone numbers in my cell so ill give someone a call..if not, ill post as soon as i can..

The funeral today was very sad. It is so tough to say goodbye to someone so young. They did a really good job making the funeral fit the person that he was. I was long too, about an hour. Colby did ok, but I ended up taking him to another room about 45 minutes into it. It was really nice seeing family that I haven't seen in years. We really need to have a family reunion once a decade or so.

Vicki, I understand your point of view your FIL attending the funeral. One of Randy's brother's chose not to come and the entire family was very angry with him. His parent's felt hurt and his brother and sister just couldn't believe that he wouldn't drive 6 hours to be there. He said that he was just there at Christmas We were very happy that both of his kids showed up though. I was also surprised to see that most of the family x's were there too.

Vicki-I was a girl scout from brownies until high school when I joined Explorers-the coed division of boy scouts. Lizzy has been enrolled since Kindergarten but I did find it wasn't really well publicized. I miss out registering her for the first 1/2 of K. I really like the program for her.

When we were in Billings..Cassidy could sell to Ama here because we did fall there and it's Winter sales here.

No I didn't see any booths, but I did see empty boxes broken down and behind a trash can at the local WalMart.

When the girls are out they just set up a table and never ask anyone if they would like to buy. The adult(s) with them sell the cookies for them.

Do I have to come and bust down the security gate to sell you cookies?? Just joking, I'm suprised you didn't see any at a booth anywhere.

ABC Baker. The Lemonades look interesting but the low fat lemon ones last year were really good and the Lemonades are certainly NOT low fat.

I wish Lizzy's troop would do it without prizes. I would think they could use the money more than we could use the prizes.

Abi's usually the lowest sales...but last year she did it all her own and sold 75 boxes presale and then was the best booth salesman...the girls averaged enough to be a super sales troop!!

not sure what i am doing tomorrow. need to fold the load of laundry i did today.
need to clean house, Jeff works till 3pm both off sunday not sure what we are doing after church.

Yes it been cold here to, but not to terrible. It was 41º today.

If you add up the high for today, tommorow, Sunday and Monday....we will get in the 40's!!

See now that is just wrong. We are supposed to have a winter mix, today till Tues. but it just sprinkled today.
It can rain and snow all it wants, just no ice please.

Well that is a very good reason not to be posting.

it was getting a little furstrating. I would pick up the card and ask her what color it was. she consitantly got orange right. purple was constantly pink. Oh well iat least it is a good way to help her with her colors.

We lucked out last year and were inside, and the girls weren't even letting the poor people get completly inside the door before asking. I told them they needed to wait until the person was at least completly inside but they were still "jumping" on everyone before they got in the door. They were also composing songs and dances to make their request, this was their own idea. It was also their idea to all wear their matching t-shirts and bandanas they made, lots of people commented on them. Passed out there thank you cards, counted their own change, with adult supervision. They had a ton of fun doing it. We closed booths early and cancelled a booth because no one was able to work them.

Too bad those adults wouldn't let the girls do the selling as they can learn alot from doing it themselves.

This weekend I will FINALLY take the Christmas stuff down, we will also go over to our friends house for family fun night and get the lovely talk with Abi out of the way.

I then have to go to work church's charge conference, Abi sings with the choir at 11 o'clock service there. There is concert at 3 PM by the Chapman University Singers and then I think I will pass out!!
