Glynis,

Thanks for the beginning of the trip report. I can't wait to hear the rest!

CONGRATS again on all of your amazing ACCOMPLISHMENTS!!! You are definitely an inspiration to me!

Does everyone that has trips booked for August have dates posted on the DDA trips thread?

I am not going to take advantage of the offer that is out now. But I am really thinking about a trip in Aug & hopefully free dining will be offered.

I am thinking about buying a AP for myself. If I use it in Aug. & again in Dec., I will have already gotten my moneys worth. Plus we all know I would have to book trips for 2008 :)

Well I need to get cleaned up, I am going over to Robin's today. They are having a memorial for her son in Utah where he was based tomorrow & she will not be able to attend. I feel really bad & wish I could help. Daniel is scheduled to arrive home the 13th or 14th with visitation on the 16th & funeral on the 17th.

Hope everyone has a great day, chat with you all later.

I am so sorry for your friend! Was he based at Hill AFB? That's the biggest one left in Utah. I wish there was something I could do.

Fox and Hound 2 is definitely out. I wonder if they released 1 to DVD also. I should go look.

Yup! I got it for Mary for Christmas.

You can still find The Search for Christopher Robin, as well.

Peter Pan is due to be released soon, too.

Glynis - I haven't watched the video of Tigger, but I am wondering if there is some sort of air tube in the costume that the kid managed to crimp or otherwise obstruct so Tigger really wasn't getting any air. One of my charges bit me in the butt years ago, and I ended up knocking her backwards with my foot because I couldn't reach her well enough to make her let go. She just sort of sat down - she wasn't hurt. When something catches you off guard like that you can't always help how you react!

That's exactly what I thought, too! the whole thing just seemed so fishy!

I was beginning to wonder how long you were going to make us wait! :rotfl2:

If it helps, I felt some of the same feelings at DL, although I bet taking a WDW person to DL might be easier than vice versa, as we are used to commando-touring if you want to get anything done!

Hey, I'm almost caught up. I promise I'll get the rest of my thought out for you soon. Just not tonight! Book group is calling my name!

I'm so sorry you were frustrated. At least you got to see a few of the highlights of the World. Philharmagic is one of my very favorite attractions! Have they travelled with you before? Were you aware that they were such lollygaggers?

I've never really travelled with them before. We've done family reunions, but nothing like this! Had I known, I would have been more forceful! I don't feel too badly, though, because Epcot was an entirely different experience. I'll explain more later, but suffice it to say, they learned to do a theme park the correct way!

Glynis,

Awww, shucks! You guys are my inspiration!

Well, I'm off now! Got to finish dinner, take the key lime bars out of the oven, print out the book list, and off to group. I'll talk to you all later.

Jennifer -- I am so very sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my prayers.

Prayers and PD for Jennifer & her family, please!

Jennifer just called and asked me to let you all know her uncle passed away unexpectedly.:guilty: She was on her way to pick up Olivia from her mom, then they were going to go break the news to her Grandma.

I told her to let us know if there is anything we can do, but for now just keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Jennifer - :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Elizabeth-thanks for letting us know

Jennifer-your family is in my prayers:grouphug:

Jennifer- Prayers, :wizard: :wizard: and :grouphug: :grouphug:

We have to renew our license and get a new picture taken every 4 years. They send us a letter telling us it is time to renew, we can mail it in or we can renew it online. They send us a photo card and we still have to go to the office to have our picture taken. I have to go this June. Often times there is a line of several people before they even open.

Yesterday was a day of accidents around here. There was a school bus accident, with a tractor trailer truck and a van, 10 students on the bus were injured, 2 students in the van and the driver of the van was hurt. The bus was from the school where the majority of my Girl Scouts go. None of them were on the bus.

One of the older sisters of my Girl Scouts was in a car accident.

A tractor trailer truck over turned on a local on ramp for the highway.

At least everyone is alive.

Sending prayers, :wizard: :wizard: and :grouphug: :grouphug: to everyone in need of one.

Evening everyone -
The Disney show went awesome! I talked a little fast at the beginning, but then slowed down when we started discussing packages. I really got some people good when I posted one of our days at Epcot (food total cost of $132) verse the cost of the dining plan ($78). Just seeing those nodding heads in the audience you see that it really was starting to sink in. Spent about 10 minutes on explaining the fastpass - and repeated 407 WDW DINE about 20 times. :teeth:
If I didn't have you guys I don't know what I would do. I'd be going to Disney at least 4 times a year but with everyone going at different times I can at least experience things through all of you. Only reason why I brought this up was because I priced myself out a 3 night cruise and told myself I can use my tax return...but then I read the beginning of a trip report and my Disney urge went away. Thanks!!!

We only have to renew ours in person every 6 or 8 years. We can do it by mail now. That has worked out really well for us.

We have been able to do online renewals for awhile, but I think mine was due for in-person renewal. I know when we moved they just used the same pic and changed the address. There was JUST something on the news about having to renew in person now because of Homeland Security or illegal immigration or something. I have until Aug. 08 before I have to renew.

I'm glad that your Disney Show went so well!

When I read trip reports, my Disney urge just gets stronger.
