Welcome home, Glynis! I cannot wait to hear about your impressions of the World!

CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN ON FINISHING THE HALF! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Welcome Home Glynis!

We missed you around here! Can't wait to hear all about your trip.

Congratulations on finishing. We knew you could do it all the time!

You are truly an inspiration to us all!

Well, I'm off to work. I wish all a great day. Say hi to Deb for me when(not if)she checks in.I really love that girl:love:

Chris! You are a wonderful guy!!!! How fun for Deb to log on and see this! What a boost to her self esteem bucket! Can we bottle you and sell you? My husband could use some of your lessons at times!

I loved that idea for your girls! Terra just asked me today if her next reward goal after closed for her Brownie Bear could be to go bowling. She's very excited. (We started a sticker chart for days with no hitting, pushing, etc and for good listening after she and Connor started back with their fighting recently.)

Is where you are at smoke free??? Colorado has an indoor smoking ban so going into any bowling alley is nice now. You might want to look and see if you have any alleys that are always smoke free. Brunswick has alleys called Fun Zones that are all smoke free and are the COOLEST lanes!! They also have a free rewards program. They send a postcard about every other month for $1.99 games and other fun specials...might want to look into that.

Good for her for thinking ahead!! and may peace reign in your house so Terra can bowl soon!!:goodvibes

She doesn't sound excited, does she?!?! Look at all of those exclamation marks.

I was excited! I still am when I think about it. It was an experience of a lifetime!

I wonder if Olivia would like bowling. I might have to look and see if we have any Fun Zones around.

Really? I was reading on TGM about how lively and upbeat that movie is. I'll have to see if I can find some other reviews of it.

From Steve Soares site:

Woody's Cowboy Camp
Round up your posse for some rootin'-tootin', straight-shootin' good times with Woody, Jesse and Bullseye at Woody's Cowboy Camp. Sam the Singin' Cowboy leads a western hoedown that rings out across the prairie. Head on out to Frontierland for some singin', dancin' and general kickin' up your heels. Yee-haw!

Let's Have A Ball
The Happily Ever After Party

You are invited to take your place in the King's grand court. An amazing Royal Ball is about to be held, and Princess Aurora and Prince Philip are on their way to welcome all the Lords and Ladies from across the land. That's YOU! As the music plays and merry-makers lead the way, you'll take your place alongside Disney royalty in a fairy tale dream come true.

Here are my thoughts as a recently returned traveler:

We saw Impressions of France. I really liked the movie. Of course, I've been to most of the places filmed, and it was nice to see them again. I also loved the music, as I grew up playing most of it in youth orchestras. It is very relaxing, and I noticed that my BIL slept his way through it. I would see it again, but I don't know if I would take my kids. I think Katie would appreciate it, but I'm not so sure about the younger ones.

We also happened upon Woody's Cowboy Camp as we were wandering through Frontierland. It was really cute! It looked like the kids were having a great time. I think that Nicholas would really like it. Alyssa probably would too! It's very upbeat, and easy to get into the spirit of the thing!

That is very sweet of you to say. Thank you ;)

Welcome back Glynis! Congratulations on the marathon, we all knew you could do it :cheer2: Don't take to long catching up, we want to hear all the details!

Hi, everyone! I'm back and so happy to be back!!! We had a great time, and I promise I'll tell you all about it. Suffice it to say, I actually FINISHED the half, and didn't do too badly, either.

My husband, SIL, and BIL had a great dinner with Ellen and her family, and Kate and her family! It was definitely the highlight of the whole trip! I can't wait to get to do it again! Alan had a great time with Steve, and repeatedly said that it was great to finally meet up with some of the DDA, and see that it's such a great group!

My one regret was not being able to hook up with Jennifer and Kyle. Hopefully we will meet in the future!

Well, I'm off, back to page 6098 to start catching up.
Hi Glynis. I can't wait to hear all about your trip. Isn't Steve just wonderful? We all really enjoyed having him around when we were in DC. :goodvibes

Congratulations too!!!

I want to go back to Disney World so badly right now!!!! I don't know when I'm going to be able to get back there.

I am, however, working on my husband to get out West (and maybe to Disneyland) for our 20th anniversary in 2008. I'd go in the summer when we can take all of the kids.

Beth

Let me know, and I'll help you plan the perfect DL trip! I can cite Lindsay and Kate as references!

i know jello with gummy fish in it but Olivia does not eat Jello. gold fish crackers and fish sticks are the first things that come to mind.

I WISH!!! I SO miss that part of living in CA and MA. It still shocks me to walk into a restaurant and be asked "smoking or non?" Our town itself is smoke free, but not many are. One of our closest bowling alleys is a Brunswick so I'll have to check it out. My sister gets their coupons so I'll have to try that out as well. $1.99 a game would definitely be a winner for us!
