Ok, here are my wedding pictures:

Before the wedding. I got more compliments on the necklace I borrowed from my cousin than I did on the dress. It was an awesome necklace but so was the dress!!!

During the wedding:

The wedding party. My favorite cousin was my maid of honor. My sister & best friend from high school were my bridesmaids. Chuck's brother was his best man and his roommates from college were the groomsmen. Chuck's X-BIL and my brother were the ushers.

My bedroom furniture was the matching "set" of anything that I bought, years before I was married. Through the years after that, I've learned to go to the furniture stores, find what I want, and then call North Carolini and order it directly. Even with the shipping cost, it comes out much cheaper. There is such a mark-up on furniture.

Chuck and I were thinking exactly the same thing when we saw your pictures. It was one of the reasons that I finally took the time to go downstairs and scan mine. We got married in 1982. Chuck was 22 and I was 20-1/2. Your reception looked very similar to ours as well. Though we didn't have the post party. We had a buffet meal.

Chuck has a very small family and I have a very large extended family. Dad was one of 13 and Mom was one of 9. My family had to drive 3 hours to the wedding and most showed. Chuck had just his immediate family and one aunt, uncle & cousin. We had lots of friends from college and I had lots of friends from high school show up.

The necklace was absolutely gorgeous. A friend of the family gave it to my cousin when she was cleaning out her jewelry box. The silver is actually spiralled. I can't think of what they call it. People do it with paper by taking little strips of paper and during curlicues. Does that make sense? I can't think of what it is called.

What is a proper bedroom suite? You mean your childhood dressers and a bedframe with no head board is not normal for a bedroom? We have always talked about getting a set but there is always something much more important for me to want to spend money on.

No, silly! Those are in my guest bedroom!

Our current furniture isn't even as nice as that. It is two nightstands, a dresser, and a bookcase that came out of a box from Lowe's, assembled by Jonathan. And all we have is the bedframe that came with our mattress.

Come Saturday, we will have a four poster bed, two nighstands, a dresser, a mirror, and an entertainment center! We're going to think we've died and gone to heaven!

Becky had to work late tonight. We got some snow this afternoon so her car needs to defrost before she can come home. I told her I'd wait up for her. I'll be heading to bed as soon as she gets home because I have to head to Marquette/Gwinn again tomorrow for the project that is going so wonderfully! NOT!
