You guys ready for some bouquet pictures? I have it narrowed down to a selection of 4, all with flowers I like and don't like. I have a favorite, but I'll try not to tell until the end. Let me know your favorite!!! Forgive me in advance for taking a whole page!!!

Bouquet #1 - Don't let the apples fool you - I'd sub in crab apples because they are so much smaller. And I wouldn't want them as dominate as they are in the photo...

Bouquet #2 - I'm not fond of the ferns - I'd sub in some smaller hosta leaves; and those purple thingies sticking out would have to be shorter...

Bouquet #3 - Would have to get rid of the pink and maybe some yellow...

Bouquet #4 - Not to fond of the yellow...

It's a tough choice but I'm going to go with number 4

Good Morning Janet,

I thought I'd join in with the wedding photos. These aren't very fancy as we got married at my MIL's house. We wore clothes that we had, and my mom made the cake.

I'm actually giving the online dating thing a try. Kristine is my mentor.

I have two wonderful BILs that are results of online dating. Not a dating site, per se, but both were met via the Internet.

I love looking at all the cakes. I did not post any of mine, because the colors turned out pretty ugly. Dh favorite color is purple, & I wanted the cake to have light colored purple decorations. They were dark!

Good morning, DDA!

I hope everyone has a great Saturday! We are about to start taking the Christmas tree down (finally). I also need to finish up the laundry I didn't get done on our snow day. I am babysitting for a family from the preschool tonight, so I need to get moving on the household chores. Yuck. I also need to do the final copy of our tax return and get that in the mail. I just did it quickly (in pencil) last night to see how much we are getting back.

I love all the wedding photos!

I like 3 and 4.

Me, too! I think I like #4 best, with #3 coming in a very close second.

Tia lovely pictures! So how did you come about having 2 wedding celebrations? One was stressful enough for me lol

I love this picture of Terra, she reminds me of Alfafa(sp) from the little Rascals

We got engaged at the start of all of Phil's health issues/questions. In the beginning he was really sick and having a lot of scary possible diagnosis thrown out. We ended up deciding on a Friday to fly to Vegas that weekend because we weren't sure what the future held and how is health was going to hold out. Luckily, things stabalized and nothing too terrible has happened. For the benefit of the family, we had a more traditional ceremony in Oklahoma in route to moving to CA. The first one was so spur of the moment that there wasn't anymore stress involved than trying to get a load of clothes washed so that we could pack. My parents happened to be in Vegas that weekend visiting a friend so they were there for the ceremony as well. The 2nd wedding wasn't too stressful either as it was very simple and primarily just my extended family. Neither was exactly what I wanted and seemed for "other people" more than me, but they were still nice.

Tia - I loved your wedding pictures. I think it would have been fun to h ave two wedding celebraitons and have two dresses and parties.

Terra looks just like her Mom and Grandma in that picture. You all hold your head the same way.

That's my girl. Phil says that we look just alike from the back other than size. He says that our build and stance are exactly the same. All of that was even more true after she got her hair cut.
