Hello ladies. How is everyone tonight?

As my mom and i were driving home tonight, we were talking about Steve going to Iraq and about how we met Alyssa one year ago from this week..We stopped at a traffic light and the radio just shut off--sounded like a plug was being pulled out or something...We tried to figure it out and even pulled over to shut teh car off and restart it-Nothing worked. When we pulled in the garage and turned off the car..we got the manual out to see if we could figure it out.. , i laughed and said "alyssa, this is REALLLL funny, can you fix the radio now?!" Mom turned the car back on and the radio was working..it was a strange moment!

We all liked it. It was very good and we have enough left over for another meal. I think I shamed my kids into liking it though, by telling them that I got the recipe from another mommy friend, who has 4 kids and every one of them liked it and asked her to make it again.

Well at least you got them to try it. I tell my boys to at least take 1 bite of something & if they still do not care for it, they do not have to eat it. Nine times out of ten, they end up liking it!

I've been using Glynis' rule....you have to take as many bites as you are old. That woman knows all the parenting tricks.

How was the Shepards Pie Tammi?

Dh will not eat vegetable soup, so I am going to try it with just corn. Boring I know, but this is the only vegetable he likes.

I have never made shepherd's pie with soup...I've always just done veggies....not sure what I used to keep the hamburger moist...last time I made it was probably 4 years ago or so.

I am sure it will come out fine!!

My girls have to try a couple of bites of everything (I do too if I've never had it before)...if they've had it before, and don't like it...espescially with veggies they get to have one bite...unless there's a bunch of things they know they don't like...then it's only one bite of the least offensive

I bought that dress 2 years ago at the Disney store - it was the deluxe Tink dress - I got it after Halloween for $15 dollars!!!!!
