Thats. I've been considering finding a trial of Photoshop Elements. (Anyone here use it?) I never got a chance to try Photoimpact because it wouldn't work with my Windows version. If figure I'll just try my hand with the freebies for awhile before I even look in the shops. At least when I was buying paper supplies I would always take them back when I was more reasonable again.

That's what we use around here Tia...my mom bought it for Kevin for Christmas in 2004. I never really taught myself how to use it, but Kevin likes it a lot. He used it to create our signature. :sunny:

Amy :)

Well, we're going! I seriously can't believe it. We've never planned such a spontaneous trip (it's only six weeks away)! :tink:

We're staying at POP again (we're on a budget you know ;) ), but we're still getting one AP. It still saves us $83 and we'll have it for baby #2's first trip next winter or spring.

This will be the first trip where we won't make ADRs for every single day...again, a money issue. We'll still have to plan a few character meals, of course, but if anyone could suggest your absolute favorite, yet slightly healthy, counter service, I'd appreciate it. We love Tusker House!

Thanks for all your encouragement! And thanks again Lindsay for looking up all the AP info! I have a few things to do now... :rotfl:

Amy :)

Amy-Im so glad you are going!!

This was posted on the TPAS board. It is a link to his home movie of his trip that he made. I think it is great. He is RandomPrince.

This is great. I was looking for something new to watch to help me pass the time until my trip. Only 25 days left 'til we are on the plane winging our way to Disney!

Amy - We had lunch at the Sunshine Seasons Cafe in The Land in Epcot. I had a wonderful Asian salad. Are you going to be getting the dining plan?

YEA AMY!!

I am glad that you two let cooler heads prevail and didn't do anything crazy like staying home!!! :teeth:

Hey guys,

I could use some prayers and PD. I had some lumps appear on my neck (but under the skin) over the weekend, and went to my dr. today to have them checked out.

Prayers coming your way!! :wizard:

I know we have to be careful with baby name stories - don't want to offend anyone... but last year a girl at work had a baby and she called her Summer Breeze... An email went out announcing the arrival and there was a sweep of audible laughter across the office as people read it... Summer? Great name I love it... Summer Breeze? Sounds like the name of a fabric softener... :rolleyes1:

It is the name of a fabric softener!! :lmao:

I just had to add my strange name stories...growing up I was friends with Penny Nickels and a friend was named Misty Dawn because that is what her mom saw out the window when she was born.

Makes me glad I have a normal name...though my mother in law asked us if Cassidy was conceived in WY because she is Cassidy Cheyenne...uh none of your beeswax!! :rotfl2:

Steffy-

That accident sounds horrific. prayers and pixie dust for the family as they are healing.

Congratulations. One last trip with just the 3 of you sounds wonderful. And only 6 weeks away. I am sooooo jealous.

Sorry you aren't feeling well Denise - does it mean a hospital visit if you go intravenous?

Too bad we don't live closer -- Hunka said he'd triple-sit for you!

Oh yeah - and go to bed! Is John working late again tonight?? Let him handle the kids while you get some sleep.

I did! I went to bed as soon as I posted, and I got up at 10am. It is still killing me, and now Rees says his throat hurts too. The kids all have ENT follow-up appointments from their ear tubes tomorrow, so I'll wait and take him then (give him lots of cool liquids, tylenol, motrin until then). This Strep has really wiped me out. Thanks for all the good wishes everyone!

Denise - Move away, far far away, from the kids. The only time I can remember having strep was when I was 20, and I had it in conjuction with mono. I was miserable, so I know exactly how you are feeling. Get some rest.

I wondered if I had mono as well. I'll have to wait and see if the antibiotics work. So far, nothing is making a difference.

Does anyone have any good ideas for an anniversary gift for my dh? I hate having to buy him gifts. He is the hardest to buy for. No hobbies, not into sports, doesn't need clothes. He lives in tshirts and jeans, except for work, which is a uniform. Any ideas would be appreciated.

A good picture of you and the kids? My DH loves that kind of stuff.

Denise - sending you pixie dust -

you need to curl up in bed and get better!! Send your kids to school and call in sick!! Take some time to heal yourself - that should be no trouble with triplets!! :lmao: :lmao:

There's no school tomorrow, but the kids have an ENT appt at 9:30, then ballet, and choir. I'll be cancelling choir. I hope the kids don't get it (or get an antibiotic tomorrow am) because Friday at school is "Special Man in Your Life Lunch" at school and DH gets to go eat with them and have a program and craft. They are really excited.

Oops

I forgot - Julia says her hand doesn't hurt so that is good news - but she has a big old blister on it that everyone who looks at it cringes at!!!

I have a feeling we will soon be keeping the open wound bandaged!

Make sure to keep an antibiotic cream on it. Burns get infected very easily. and give her Tylenol for the pain.

Oh, and "Rule of Thumb" (no pun intended) is that if a burn is larger than 50% of the size of your palm, you should seek medical attention for the burn. Rees knocked over a lamp when he was 2.5 and burned his hand (palm). He was in agony and it looked horrible. Sending Julia get well soon vibes.
