I wondered if I had mono as well. I'll have to wait and see if the antibiotics work. So far, nothing is making a difference.

Denise - I had mono when I was 16 and it is no fun! Make sure they do plenty of bloodwork. It is just horrible. I was told that once you have mono your blood titers change for the rest of your life. 1) I don't even know what a blood titer is 2) Does the fact that it change effect anything???

Well, we're going! I seriously can't believe it. We've never planned such a spontaneous trip (it's only six weeks away)!

We're staying at POP again (we're on a budget you know ), but we're still getting one AP. It still saves us $83 and we'll have it for baby #2's first trip next winter or spring.

This will be the first trip where we won't make ADRs for every single day...again, a money issue. We'll still have to plan a few character meals, of course, but if anyone could suggest your absolute favorite, yet slightly healthy, counter service, I'd appreciate it. We love Tusker House!

Counter service... I had not used CS at all until our last trip with the free food! Then we had 8 CS meals to dine on....

Some of my favorites.... Flame Tree Barbeque. in AK.... Backlot Express in MGM. fish and chips at ABC Commissary in MGM. I'm so glad your going!!!

I'm sure she didn't mean to offend anyone Beth...everyone has different taste in names. Like Clare said, we have to be careful when we get specific, because with all the people on this thread, someone's bound to get upset.

Having taught for nine years, there are a lot of names I simply don't like because I had "rotten" students associated with them.

Thanks, Amy! I wasn't really offended, but I guess I don't see the name as being particularly odd or funny. I know what you mean about associating names with certain people, though. There are a couple that I could never use (and they are perfectly fine names) because of the people I have known with those names. I know that there are a few people around me that had to take some time to get used to Miles, too.

I really like the song that Maya Angelou sings with some of the kids and Muppets on Sesame Street about names.

Thats. I've been considering finding a trial of Photoshop Elements. (Anyone here use it?) I never got a chance to try Photoimpact because it wouldn't work with my Windows version. If figure I'll just try my hand with the freebies for awhile before I even look in the shops. At least when I was buying paper supplies I would always take them back when I was more reasonable again.

I've just started playing around with Adobe Photoshop Elements. It is taking a little work to get going, but I haven't used a program like it before. And I really don't have the time I need to sit down and play.

I tried downloading Photo Impact, but it won't let me get the additional downloads. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, and dh didn't even know what the error message meant.

I'm working on my taxes.

I'm a tad unfocused tonight. One of the ladies that I work with, two of her relatives ... a mother and child... were killed in a very violent head-on car accident this weekend. The dad is still in a coma. Another child was airlifted to another hospital. I won't post a picture of the car... because there is no happy ending like Deb's .... just too morbid. But think the car that Princess Diana was in, squished more.

So between death and taxes, I'm one unhappy girl tonight....

Sooooooo, I've got to refocus on something good. Need to build a bridge and get over this feeling of helplessness. I've already planned my trip to Disney, now what???

My Dad's 90th birthday party is this weekend. Believe it or not, he has never been to Disney. I just asked my step-mother if I gave them a trip would they go? No.

I'm trying to come up with a tshirt for him... Somehow I have to make a shirt that says he's 90 and never been, however he created a Disney loving DD! Since I am missing the creative gene, this is going to be a challenge!

So to the question, is there anything we can do to help, the answer is yes!! Would you all help me???? Pretty please with cherries on top!!!

As for healthy counter-service, I definitely think your best bet is in AK. We like the Flame Tree there - I like their BBQ chicken salad.

I think there is also now a new wrap place in MGM, but haven't been there.

There's no school tomorrow, but the kids have an ENT appt at 9:30, then ballet, and choir. I'll be cancelling choir. I hope the kids don't get it (or get an antibiotic tomorrow am) because Friday at school is "Special Man in Your Life Lunch" at school and DH gets to go eat with them and have a program and craft. They are really excited.

That sounds like so much fun!!! Keeping my fingers crossed that everyone gets/stays healthy for Friday!
