Back to the bag topic - My only request is that it is something comfortable, yet stylish. I don't like shoulder bags, as they give me a sore back because of uneven weight distribution. We usually carry a backpack with 3 or 4 different compartments. Then we have the video camera bag (very compact) and the camera bag (a little bigger). I feel I have to bring both of these in their respective bags, because they hold the extra batteries, extra mini tapes, extra memory cards, etc. So if the new bag had small compartments for these things, that would be a plus. Also, we have a double side/side stroller, so a lot of things just get stuffed in the bottom of it, like the ponchos, windbreakers, bottles of water. I know in a few years we will not have the stoller any longer, so all of that stuff is going to need to be carried.

The biggest complaint that I have about the backpack is that I put things in different compartments and can never remember which compartment it is in. Inevitably, it is never where I look. And when I do find it, it has always manage to fall to the very bottom, so I have to dig it out. A design to alleviate these problems would be great.

Here is a picture of our "cadillac" stroller. This was taken in 2001 and it wasn't the first trip for the saddle bags. There is a bag on each side of the stroller and a larger one on the handle. The two saddle bags each had 3 compartments and were designed to fold in the middle creating 2 shoulder bags when removed from the stroller. Each was held on with 3 snaps so putting them on and off was really easy. I made the large handle one with a vinyl liner so it was perfect for wet bathing suits/towels. I really miss not using the double stroller now as it was so easy to take everything we needed and everything was very easily accessible.

Keep in mind when you are designing this backpack that some of us have outgrown strollers so we need a larger main zipper section than those with the storage compartments under the strollers. Some people have mentioned about having backpacks where things fall all the way down. That's why I love my Vera Bradley purse since within the purse there are 6 other smaller pockets so I know where everything is. There are very few backpacks that have smaller compartments within the larger zipper section. Of course most backpacks are not designed for Disney trips they are designed to hold books for school so there is the problem.

It was actually a pretty neat idea -- I didn't expect it to be there of course! And as favors at our wedding we gave our jars of my cousins homemade strawberry jam. I don't know why Paul picked a strawberry patch.

He proposed so un-romantically, I thought he was joking and laughed in his face. Then he looked so sad I felt I had to say, "yes." Good thing I was really in love with him!

My DH proposed to me in front of the library at Michigan Tech under a beautiful willow tree on a moonlit night with the big fluffy snowflakes falling on us. He hadn't intended to propose to me there. We were walking from his dorm to my apartment for a party. He had been so quiet for several days that I was worried he wanted to break up with me. He had intended to wait until Christmas when he would have the ring (he had ordered it at Thanksgiving) and could do it "properly" (I had told him the person I married would know me well enough to pick out my engagement ring without me - he did GREAT!). However, he just couldn't hold it in any longer. I was so shocked, I didn't say anything. He had to ask me again and I said "Yes!". I'm just glad that we happened to be in a romantic spot when he couldn't hold it in any longer!

I can't remember the name?? It has a zipper closure w/ a small pocket on the outside and six pockets on the inside. I also have the matching wallet and make-up holder. I love mine. It is the navy/baby blue print.
