So, today we received confirmation about why our living room wall is falling apart. Yep, we have TERMITES!!! :sad2: Luckily, they seem to have isolated themselves to the one wall, but it's still going to cost $1250 to get rid of them, plus however much it will cost us to replace the wall. GRRRRR!!! :furious:

Amy :)

EWWW!!! Glad they are only having a party in the one wall though!!

Sure - but you should know my 4 year old got 16 questions right - the ones she did not get right - she would have needed to read the answers!!

and she can perform the entire number of What I've been looking for (the Ryan and Sharpay version) with all the words and dance steps!!

Your daughter is much younger than us so can retain more. Plus, I know that she has watched it more than once. :rotfl: My memory just isn't what is used to be. I remember the basic story line but the details are all a little blurry!! :rotfl:

I think I will post the trivia test tomorrow morning (or sometime this evening) and have you all pm me the answers - and these will not be questions that you can look up on the internet - they will be VERY detailed about the movie!!! :thumbsup2

That way you can all participate!!! HMMM...maybe I will pm you all the quiz and you have 1/2 hour from the time you open your pm to send me back the answers - that will stop people from cheating and watching the movie while answering the questions!! :rotfl2:

What should the prize be?

I haven't perused all of the posts from last night...but just wanted to say that I watched last night as I was taping for the girls. Jim was really involved in it also and now we want to go get the soundtrack!! There's a reason it's the #1 selling DCOM soundtrack....great songs!!

Seriously though, I learned an important lesson today. Don't mulch close to your house!!! Not only does mulch attract termites, but termites might actually already be breeding in the bag of mulch you purchase!!!

Amy :)

DOUBLE EWWW!!!!

I missed the show last night also. I hope to be able to watch it sometimes in the near future.

I did!! One of the better Disney Channel originals in a long time. As I was watching it I thought "I always want to go to a grown up movie but this is what I like...clean entertainment, no sex, violence and no naughty words." This could be why most of our DVD's could be rated teeny bopper :lmao:

Okay is it wrong of me that as soon as I saw the quiz by the queen that I pm'd her my anwers? :confused3

My dream Disney bag would be something my DH would carry!!

It would need to be easily adjustable between mom, dad and the girls.

Those stretchy pockets so that water bottles or insulated cups would stay upright...preferably made with a material that would soak up the condensation so that it wouldn't leak and ruin papers.

Maybe a trilevel backpack: 1 level would hold equipment...ie cameras, sunglasses, autograph paraphnelia maybe on top so this within reach, this would also include two inner pockets for fast passes, room keys, a little cash.
Another would hold sunscreen, chapstick, hairbrush, purell, handiwipes.
The last would hold drinks and snacks.

I would also like padded fabric handles.

Don't want much do i? :teeth:

Hey Amy! I called Party City today just before I placed my order for Terra's birthday part and as of this week, they are carrying Jojo's Circus party supplies!! :cool1: We're heading over tonight or tomorrow to get ours so I'll let you know for sure. I am excited about saving the 50% on the plates, etc.

My DH proposed to me in front of the library at Michigan Tech under a beautiful willow tree on a moonlit night with the big fluffy snowflakes falling on us. He hadn't intended to propose to me there. We were walking from his dorm to my apartment for a party. He had been so quiet for several days that I was worried he wanted to break up with me. He had intended to wait until Christmas when he would have the ring (he had ordered it at Thanksgiving) and could do it "properly" (I had told him the person I married would know me well enough to pick out my engagement ring without me - he did GREAT!). However, he just couldn't hold it in any longer. I was so shocked, I didn't say anything. He had to ask me again and I said "Yes!". I'm just glad that we happened to be in a romantic spot when he couldn't hold it in any longer! ;)

Hey guys - I just stopped in to catch up.

Amy - I hope you sort those termites that's not nice to have them eating your house

Kate - I wanted to take part in the quiz but it's not showing over here - I would probably have raced Theresa to get my answers in because I actually tried to google so I could takr part :rolleyes1:

Oh and I love the idea of a DDA bag! I'm always on the lookout for a bag for Disney and for work - I like to carry lots of bits - a book - keys - money - phone - medication - and everything always gets lost at the bottom of a bag - there are just never enough pockets in them!

 to everyone else

I'm brewing a cold here so I'm going to go and curl up on the sofa with a book and then watch this week's American Idol :)

I actually did look things up, since i didn't watch. I just wanted to see if Kate did, indeed, come up with questions that you couldn't find on the internet.

She didn't do too poorly! I WAS able to find 6 answers, but not the rest! Although give me more time........ ;)

Just kidding. From what I've read, though, it does look cute!

Really?!! I just called to ask on Wednesday, and the kid told me "no!" I still have some time (April :sunny: ), so hopefully this will change!

Please let me know what your store is carrying...this is so exciting!

Amy :)
