Thanks Everyone for your kind words!

Amy, what is your favorite restaurant? OMG I miss Cincinnati! I live in a small town now, not many places to eat out at all. And now we can’t return to one of our favorites, because Julia threw up all over it Saturday!!! And the reservations were in my name!!! UGG!! :crazy2: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

well - I am never going out to eat with you again anyway - everytime I take my kids out to eat with you - one of them throws up - they have never done this before!!!!

Yep!!

but now you are out of luck - I was going to suggest we take Amy out for lunch one day when you are here in Julu - she will be looking to get out!!

Hey Amy- you should make lunch plans with Nancy on your due date - she has had friends cancel on her numerous times when she has done this - b/c they were in labor!!!

HMMM....who helped you bake stuff for your house last weekend ;)

I think I could come up with the taxes if I did not have a mortgage, but keeping up with the home is a whole other issue!! I often wonder that on Extreme home makeover. How do those people do it after the crews leave? :confused3 I need to watch some follow-ups!

I live in the Chicago area and local NBC station has been doing a follow up with a family from Lemont IL that was on Fox's Renovate My Family a couple of years ago. (I don't think the show really caught on so it's not on anymore) Anyway, the house that was built is essentially falling apart and they can't afford to fix it. They got nailed with a huge tax bill and because of the contract the show made them sign they had a hard time even finding a lawyer to help them sue!

so my DH is lying on the couch sound asleep - this is the first time in the 10 years I have known him that he has stayed home from work sick - and I can only do so much before I get dizzy or sick to my stomach

guess that leaves the inmates running the asylum!!! :rotfl:

I hope she doesn't toss them..........:rotfl2: :rotfl:

I crack myself up....

We went to Epcot & MK in Oct. for EMH. Mk was a little busy, but towards the end of the night it thinned out & we were able to walk on rides. Epcot was not to bad either, Riley rode test track numerous times.

For those of you who have gone to Disney in October, have you used the EMH? If you have, would you recommend them? Are they very crowded?

Thank goodness no. That only lasted a few hours. Too bad it is really cold here because if some farmer would clean out the barn, that might help or if there was a dead skunk (sorry Paul) on the road that would really clean out the sinus canal

Have you tried brushing the roof of your mouth? Sometimes when that smell sticks around (I knew I would remember eventually :goodvibes ) I have to brush the tip top of my mouth....almost to the point of gagging. As for the dead skunk smell....my husband's stinkers will usually work also!! I also, after airing the coats outside (never in the garage as then they stink like exhaust :rotfl: ) I can not wear that coat for at least another week as the stink is still there. I also am prone to the headaches if my pillowcases have been sitting in the linen closet more than a week...could that be "helping" the smell stay?

Jennifer - :lmao: loved your fried brain post :) Thanks for the gastro v influenza lesson - I thought that's what you were all referring to.

Monsters inc ride - thanks for clearing up my confusion - but I agree with Kate - a door ride would be great.

Hooray for 5000 posts

Amy - you crack me up with your celebrity tales - I never thought of hole punching double sided posters :rotfl:

BTW - I just saw on the tech board that :paw: and :pug: are now fixed.

I'm wireless on the laptop too - it's great I love being able to sit at the dining table and

DIS during breakfast - or I have a folding table that I put next to the sofa so I can DIS while watching tv :)

Ellen - happy birthday - and so sorry to hear the news of your friend - we're here if you need to talk about it

Steffy - good luck with the designing - and I just noticed you're one post away from the magic 1000!!

Marti and Skunka - Welcome home  we missed you! Can't wait to hear about your trip :)

Denise - can't wait to see pictures of your space helmets - glad to hear BK is feeling better. That sounds like a fantastic school you have the triplets in - makes me want to be 5 again!

Nancy - sending lots of PD for Grace - poor girl hope she gets better real soon :wizard:

Kate - hope you and Mr Kate feel better soon too - nasty bugs!!!

Hope I didn't miss anyone :goodvibes

It sounds like ya'll have some nasty creepy crud that won't go away. Whatever you do stay north of the TN mountains so that mess doesn't come south.

But I will still send you some pixie dust that everyone is well soon pixiedust:

OK....let's not get a North/South thing going. The South always gets blamed for everything. :rotfl:

Did anyone watch Dr. Phil yesterday?

did you see the family where their deaf dalmation attacked their daughter and she needed 31 stitches on her face

the dad wants to keep the dog and the mom said no way the dog is coming back in the house -

the husband said that he felt it was not the dog's fault and the mom put their daughter in the dangerous situation and should have been more careful - and that he thinks she just needs to learn how to protect their daughter

Dr. Phil helped them come to a compromise to keep the dog outside until their daughter is older

I got to tell you though - if my DH said on National TV that a dog attacking my child was in any way my fault and that it was me and not the dog that needed to be trained - we would have way bigger issues than whether or not we were keeping the dog!!!!

I don't care whether it came form the north or the south as long as you all keep it on your side of the ocean!! I don't want it that's for sure!!

:wizard:

Hope you all feel better soon :)

speaking of Dr. Phil -

I was just looking at his upcoming show topics -

one is - are you in a cult and want to get out?

:scratchin

I am a fanatic about brushing my teeth, everywhere I can get that brush. Thankfully washing the coat took the smell right away. I had a set of clean sheets so that was not a problem. I also have another pillow that I can switch once in a while so the used one can air out. Trust me, having had to go thru problems with my oldest and his Asthma, I learned to look at everything in the house and question if it was a contributor. But here I am at work and I feel like I am sitting right back in the bar with a chain smoker sitting beside me. :confused3 :crazy2:
