Deb - I hope the meds kick in soon, and you start feeling better. Watch that sore throat carefully. It could turn into strep! Don't want to mess around with strep!

Kristine - Here's hoping your surgery goes well and you are back in your usual sunny mood soon!

Nancy - I'm so sorry that Grace is still sick. There's just nothing worse than having one of your children sick and feeling helpless to do anything!

I hope I haven't missed anyone, if so, I'm sending for those that are sick or sad today. I won't be on much as I've got tons of homework that I've kind of left until the last minute. I'll try to check in every once in a while. Have a great day, DDA'ers

I just got off the phone with Marti and Skunka live from Disney!!!!!! They are having a blast. Weather is great and they said there is nobody there. Had EMH at MK and they got to see Wishes with the park practically empty. Oh, and they got to preview EE, and Skunka said it is awesome! They're eating at LeCellier tonight for Marti's b'day. Paul was on his way to get Dole whip when we hung up.

I told Marti about all the birthday wishes on here for her, and she was thrilled. Marti said to wish Amy Happy Birthday! They said they miss the DIS and can't wait to 'talk' to everyone.

Thanks for the update Denise. I was wondering what day she would be having the cheese soup for me at Le Cellier. Let us know if you hear from them again.

Kristine - a good laugh always helps cheer me up - do you have a funny video you could watch

- or some friends you could hang out with. When I get in a funk my DH stays well clear!

Sometimes I just need some quiet time on my own to snap out of it - and I agree a little sun

Oddly, this is the first time I've craved something sweet in a while. I think that's how I managed to avoid gaining any holiday weight...the cookies and stuff just weren't appealing. Now, salty snacks...that's a different story.

My problem was that I craved everything!!
While we were watching Desparate Housewives on Sunday DH reminded me of my other big craving- canadian bacon pizza!!!!!!!!!! Doesn't sound real good now, but when I was pregnant I went nuts for it!

Kristine- I think I heard on the news that today is the most depressing day of the year, so you are in good company. You know what pulls me out of a funk- looking at our Disney pictures from the fall and starting to plan the next trip!!!!!!1 (Ok who am I kidding, we leave in 10.5 months and it's already planned!!!!!!!!) Hope tomorrow is a better day!!

OK, my trip planning dilemma lives on!!!!!!!!!! (for the record I have never even planned a trip this far out and I can't believe the trouble I'm having )

Now that I can price airfare for our trip- we are getting really bad prices!! As near as I can tell the problem is our return flight on 12/17. That must be too close to Christmas or something. The only window to get a cheap flight is Dec 1-15 (with a few days excluded). That means we have to go during Pop Warner week

DH doesn't want to upgrade to stay at AKL (at this point I can't even get a standard room at WL for any days in that 15 day window ). We were supposed to stay at POR but I don't want to be by the Pop group. I guess we'll have to try for POFQ but half the time when I pull the dates, it doesn't even come up available.

What's a girl to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am feeling somewhat better. I suppose it's a combination of things, weather, bad work day, worried about a surgical procedure tomorrow. I have a strange growth on my finger that has attached to the bone and has to be removed. DH says I'll have to use my nose to click the mouse Gotta love him...

Amy, I think you and Alyssa should do something special for your birthday; a trip to Chik-fil-a, or maybe Cold Stone or some other wonderful ice cream place. Make it a fun girl's day out! My daughter's love it when I do one on one time with them, and believe me, once the new baby is here, it's going to be harder to do it! Treat yourself to some goody you normally wouldn't consider getting. 34 is as big a birthday as any of them, really, so live it up!
