Well I called the Timeshare Store and said put me on your waiting list for 25/50 point contracts. I figured it's a way to get my feet wet with this thing without spending too much.
I thought that there was a 150 pt. minimum. :confused3 My DH would feel better starting off small as well.

Travolta still looking darn good!

You know, he really is! Better than in previous years I think! ::yes::

Ooh, and I think he's a cutie too sometimes (the person who just won. who is not being mentioned for Amy's sake, even though she's clearly not with us anymore :rotfl: )

I am enjoying the presenters. Clint Eastwood looked great for his age. I fell in love with John Travolta when he did Grease. I had a long distance relationship at the time. It was "our movie". It was the summer before my senior year when it came out.

What is the Squid & the Whale about? Anyone know? What is Brokeback Mountain about? Strange titles. I guess I'll have to get on that cool site that someone told us about to look up actors and such (I think it was probably Kate).

Ooh, another couple I've heard of. Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, The Producers and Walk the Line.

I like jessica alba's outfit

If you buy resale (as in, through The Timeshare Store for one), there is not a minimum. :goodvibes

OK DDA, I need a little advice. Actually, I need you to tell me that I am being a baby and to grow up!! Or not, you tell me what you think:

As you know, we are going to WDW in December. I have always wanted to be there at Christmastime and after some prodding, DH agreed to go. His parents are coming too. Not sure what I think about that since I am an obsessive planner and she is too (but in a whole different way). Now, the inlaws have invited their daughter and her family to come with. First thing she wants to do is change the dates to make it more convenient for her. Also, they will need to stay at a value since the trip is going to be a real budget crunch for them. MIL thinks we should all stay at the same hotel (Yes this is the same MIL who has reservations about staying at mod and not a deluxe and now she wants to go value!).

DH will never rock the boat where MIL is concerned so I am on my own here.

I am losing some of my excitement over the trip.... am I being a baby or do I have the right to feel a little deflated?

tinker1bella dn I went thru something similar. When her two sisters decided to join us, they stayed at Pop. We stayed at POFQ. In hindsight, we should have just stayed at Pop. It was a commando trip (hadn't planned it that way, we just had so much fn in the parks)

They would meet us at a park or for a meal and then we would be together all day, but I missed us being able to stay up and talk to them, run through the connecting doors, ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

In hindsight, we both agreed, we should have stayed at Pop. Afterall, we were at Disney!! And the fun we all had would have continued on the bus going back to teh resort, we would have stopped at the food court and got soda or ice cream or whatever, and talked and laughed until we keeled over.

Pop was fine. I think you'll have a ball. And use the POFQ money on more souviers!!

Thanks Kate. I just looked them both up. It is nice to actually easily try to keep up with what is happening in Hollywood. My best friend gives me her people magazines after she is done with them but I usually get them a month behind.
