I might be able to swing a Pittsburgh trip! But I might have to have some kids with me.

Beth
I'd have to have mine too, unless I left them with my parents. Also, thanks for the kind words.

So I woke up this morning with the nagging feeling that I had forgot something. Turns out that Colby has a doctors appointment at 10:25 this morning. I'm glad that I finallly remembered as he needs the health form filled out for school. I think he'll be a little late for school, at at least it will be over with. That means that I won't be working on the Cub Scout stuff this morning, but hopefully I can do it this afternoon.

It is nice to see everyone this morning. I'll check back this afternoon. Have a great day!!

Deb

Good Morning Everyone!

I have been very busy the last few days and haven't had a chance to post. I am finally off for 5 days, so I am hoping to get some things done.

We are getting our family pictures done this week, and while we are at the mall, Leighanna will see the "real" Santa. We have had a yearly photo of her with him since she was born, so I don't want to miss this year too! He is a very good Santa with a real beard, so she always calls him the real one! Hopefully she won't be asking for Butterscotch the Pony! :rotfl:

Friday is our company's Christmas party, so we have a sitter for that night. It is also our 22nd wedding anniversary. I can't beilieve it has been that long. We got married when we were 19, and a few relatives said that it would never work out. I bet they are eating their words about now! :goodvibes

All the pictures with Santa have been fantastic! Hopefully I will get a good one on Thursday and I will post it then.

We are hoping to get our tree this weekend. We have 3 "artificial" ones in the garage, but my wife remembers having a "real" tree as a child, and all the memories she has of it. She wants Leighanna to have the same memories of going out in the cold and searching for the "perfect" tree. It is fun, but a lot of work.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Saying prayers for everyone that needs it. :grouphug: :wizard: :grouphug: :wizard:

Hi Tom  Enjoy your time off from work. I will keep my fingers crossed about the pony :rotfl: In case I forget HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

Good morning everyone! Just a quick catch up before getting to work. I'm taking Kassie to dance this morning so that Kristi doesn't have to either sit with Chase at dance class for an hour with cold germs everywhere or get the kids in and out twice to drop off and pick up. After that, it is onto the Santa Cow costume. I just hope that it turns out to be as easy as I think it will. Well, not easy per se, but it doesn't look too hard (knock on wood).

Have a great day everyone and I'll try to drop in again later.

Happy (almost) anniversary!!! Congratulations! I hope that you enjoy your days off. Loads of :wizard: that Butterscotch is not on Santa's list.

Thought I would post some pictures of the tree in living room. It is not our Disney tree. That is in Kristin's room and I will take pictures of it later. I collect Santas and have many ornamnents as well as figurines. Only a few fit on the new slimline tree I bought last weekend.

Tia Good luck with the sewing. I'm sure it will look great.

So I'm getting sleepy. I'm finally caught up. I gotta get up and go to the Dr. tomorrow, I was supposed to go Monday but didn't since I went to NYC. It was only supposed to be a check for my reflux but now I have a lump on the back of my neck  my guess is a swollen lymph node but better be safe than sorry.

Also my past co-worker Gail who had lung and brain cancer died Friday night. Have a goodnight and good day everyone. :wizard: and :grouphug: to everyone I missed.

Hope your dr appointment goes well...
:grouphug: sorry to hear about Gail

It snowed here last night! Our ground is nicely covered in Ravenna - the Cleveland area AKA Lake Effect Snow area got 8 inches two nights ago and another 3 inches last night. Cleveland area schools and surrounding county schools are still closed - some due to weather, but the majority due to no heat.

Keep the snow there!! i dont want it yet! hahahah

Tia good luck with the sewing!

I need to get a couple things done & then get ready for work. If I don't make it back, have a great day everyone!
