Deb~ Thanks so much for posting the info about the Polar Express. The closest one to us is in NJ which right outside of Allentown, PA. I just bought tickets this morning. My cousin is getting transferred to Allentown this coming weekend so we will be able to visit him and his new wife. We were planning on going up the weekend of the 9th to do lunch with them and now the girls will be excited as they will get to ride on the train. Emma loves the book so this is perfect!!

Good morning, DDA! Brrr! Chilly this morning! We had lots of wind and rain overnight, and now everything is all wet so it can freeze over as the temps drop! They are de-icing all outgoing flights at DFW so that will slow things to a crawl. I hope it all clears out by Saturday! OMG! In 48 hours we will be at the airport!!

I told Momboss I thought it would be bad in the morning and better this afternoon, but the news says it will actually get worse as the day goes on. Maybe I can leave work before it gets dark.

I hope everyone from up north is able to make it out with no delays!

Wonderful news!

Just an update~ My official due date is the 5th of July. I started seeing a new OB as my dr is retiring in early 2007. I was a little nervous about starting over with a new dr but my girlfriend recommended him and he is fabulous. It was almost as if I have been going to him forever. That was a big relief! He did say that if I had not delivered by July 1 he would induce me on the 2nd so I could be home for the 4th.

Good morning! Well back to the usual craziness trying to get the kids off to school!!! And to think I missed them while I was away! (they are all fighting as I type!)

Does anyones kids keep adding new things to their Christmas list???? Mine come up with a new thing everyday!!! Um kiddies..Santa is done!!!

I am going to try & get some wrapping done today but the kids have a half day so not sure how much I'll get done.

It is going to be in the high 60's today but cloudy & foggy. Have a great day DDA.

OK. I'm ready for work. Well, "ready" as in I am showered and dressed. Not "ready" as in eager to go out in the drippy cold!

I almost let it slip that I am not working next week! DS was eating breakfast and I said to DH that my bosses haven't worked out what to do with Brother & Sister yet. Luckily I stopped right there, and DS didn't ask me what I was talking about. My bosses aren't big planners. They have known since July that I was going to be gone, and Grandma in Austin knew, too. I figured they would have her come up to help since the kids have school and have to be dropped off & picked up. The Grandma who is visiting now lives overseas and doesn't drive in the US. I'm sure they will figure it out! Sister is constantly telling me that since she is 5 she doesn't need a nanny anymore, so maybe she has it all under control!

Terra is doing that too! Luckily, so far it is only 1 thing. She saw my Mom buy Kassie a Littlest Pet Shop and has been talking about it ever since. She was saying that Santa was going to bring it. I tried to suggest that I would tell Grandma or Oppidie (her uncle) that was on her list. She is still set that I am getting it for her, but I'm done too. Her Oppidie is going to get it for her so I'm just hoping that come Christmas morning she isn't too worried about who it was from.

Tammi-I thought of this morning. My morning news show had a segment on mytwinn.com dolls. They made some to look the anchors when they were kids (from photos). They looked nice but are more expensive than the American Girl dolls. $159 if you want it for Christmas.
