Is there anyway to tell what Katrina's wrist size is??? After I finish these 12 ornaments I am making for Saturday's tea I want to make her a bracelet since she liked the wedding bands so well.

It was Becky that was trying to steal it. Send me a pm and I'll get the measurement for you when I get back. I'll try to remember tonight before we leave but probably won't remember.

I am really sorry I missed saying "bon voyage" to our DDA travelers. But, if you haven't left yet... no matter how you are getting there,

Tammi-I thought of this morning. My morning news show had a segment on mytwinn.com dolls. They made some to look the anchors when they were kids (from photos). They looked nice but are more expensive than the American Girl dolls. $159 if you want it for Christmas.
Ouch! No, but thanks for thinking of me. I'm thinking the AG doll might get saved for her birthday present.

Well, my day is off to a fabulous start. NOT! The delivery truck showed up in Iron River to deliver the fall sale product and the people aren't there to accept it. I'm responsible for that area. That puts me an hour behind for the Fall Sale stuff. I'm still not packed, have stuff to finish for work, and have wedding preps to complete before we leave for Green Bay.

Luckily, the weather prediction at least early this morning was Green Bay and Cincinnati were just going to get some rain. None of the freezing rain and snow that Chicago is getting. I was unhappy when we had to change our flights because of AA messing with our flight times but it may have been divine providence that we'll miss the snow in Chicago. Otherwise, we'd have been flying from Green Bay to Chicago. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and saying prayers that there are no delays for us due to the bad weather coming through. We'll be home late Tuesday night.

I don't know if I'll be back before the end of this crazy day so:

I'll miss all of you and will think of you while I'm at Disney. Have a great week-end and I'll check in on Wednesday.

Good morning! Well back to the usual craziness trying to get the kids off to school!!! And to think I missed them while I was away! :confused3 :rotfl2: (they are all fighting as I type!)

Does anyones kids keep adding new things to their Christmas list???? Mine come up with a new thing everyday!!! Um kiddies..Santa is done!!! :teeth:

I am going to try & get some wrapping done today but the kids have a half day so not sure how much I'll get done.

It is going to be in the high 60's today but cloudy & foggy. Have a great day DDA.

We have always had a policy that the letter to Santa is written by Thanksgiving day....no adding to that one after the fact. Grandma lists can be added to but mom & dad and Santa's can not!! :teeth:

I sat going Katrina,Becky,Katrina,Becky....finally decided on Katrina....my brain was a little sleepy when we talked!! :teeth:

Abi is home sick from school today.

I am just waiting for a co worker to come in and my bulletin volunteer to get here. Then I am going home. Yes, my grandparents are home but sick munchkins need their mama!!

Good Morning Everyone,

Here's some PD for all of our travelers :wizard: , hopefully the weather won't interfere with your flights.

I'm feeling much better this morning, yesterday I was pretty sore. Tuesday I woke up feeling bad and got a late start to work, well on the way there there was a traffic jam on the interstate, and for some unknown reason the 18 wheeler that I was behind decided to back up, and with no where for me to go as we were in a traffic jam he backed right into me. Fortunatly the damage is minor but now I have to try and get the trucking company to cover the damage, as the driver never stopped. The officer that took my report said he prbably never even knew he hit me.

I don't have another trip in the works yet, but I feel the World calling my name.

Have a Great day everyone, I'm going to try and get things rolling around here, I have barely started my Christmas shopping.

Debbie

I just spoke with my mom today and she told me she got this for Alyssa for Christmas. http://www.fisher-price.com/fp.aspx?st=2623&e=product&pid=38141&mainid=37225&acccat=fp3acc

Does anyone have any experience with it? From the description it sounds like it will be a good way for her to learn about the electronic age (and me too, for that matter).

I'm so glad she's getting this! I was toying around with the idea of getting them for the twins, but didn't know if they'd be able to work them. I'll be interested to know how Alyssa does with it, and if she likes it! Way to go, Grandma!!!

Well, mine are both too old to have a list for Santa anymore, but I have to share a comment from one of my 3 year old students. Yesterday morning we were in the middle of a listening exercise about an elephant looking for friends when he looked right at me and said, "Mrs. H! Guess what?!?! Santa is bringing me an elephant and a bird for Christmas!" I pursued it very delicately because his Dad was sitting there looking like

Seems Brandon is convinced that Santa told him in a dream that he would bring a real elephant for him to ride and a bird for his shoulder. :rotfl: Unfortunately Santa did not visit Mom and Dad with the same dream...

Have I told you all how much I LOVE my job! :goodvibes

I am glad you are OK after your trucking incident yesterday, Debbie! Also happy to hear that you are feeling somewhat better today too.
