Description is "MK, AK, Epcot Center & MGM are part of the park complex in Buena Vista, Fla." At 8pm Central, Walt Disney World Holidays is on. Description is "Samantha Brown heads to the Florida theme park for a festive getaway."

We loved them both.

I had posted about my situation with DS6. Well he got really sick that day and we still have not talk to him about his real dad. He seems to have forgotten about it for the time being. He went back to school today but still is not feeling real well.

I took DS18 to the doctor yesterday and he has the FLU. They swabbed his nose and he said about Killed him. He is on Tamiflu. I am just praying the rest of us stay well.

I have been busy with the WPASADI. It is the wrong time of year to have a game going on but I would be nice to win something. Especially the one of the trips.

I've started my trip report. Only have the background up so far. I'm typing up day 1 with pictures and should have that up within the next hour. I'm a little distracted with the Undiscovered WDW show that is on. I've not seen this one before. I'm looking for ideas for our Feb. trip with Becky. So far we have CRT breakfast, segway tour and P&P Party booked. Chuck wants to fish on a future trip but we'll probably wait for another couple trip for that as Becky isn't really interested.

I got such a wonderful surprise when I opened my mailbox today. Not one, but two postcards from WDW. Thank you Vicki and Elizabeth! What a fun lift to my day!!!

Becky, what kind of camera do you have? I really want one with IS, but dh doesn't think I need a new camera. He's right, but I'm still going to keep researching in hopes of having a little extra to spend on myself at some point.

Your photos are beautiful! I was especially amazed the the stage shots!

I have a Sony DSC-H1, the newest version of it is the DSC-H5. Mine has a 12x optical zoom, 5.1mp I've printed 16 x 20 inch prints without a problem and image stabilization. I really like it alot but still covet a Nikkon or Canon DSLR.

One of my favorite presents was a stuffed hippopotamus that my aunt made for me when I was little. I've never heard this song. I will have to look for it and send it to her!

Edy's has a light version of Peppermint Ice Cream.. Not sure if either of you have Edy's in your areas, it is also called Dreyer's in some areas however it appears they only have the full calorie variety.

Deb - Do you know we didn't take any pics of DS's face when we told him! The camera was already packed! Besides, he never really LOOKED surprised. I think he was in shock.

Janet - Funny, DH said in August that Star Tours makes his head hurt. I said to him this trip that every time we ride it I like it a little bit less. But DS loves it! I COMPLETELY forgot that Wonders of Life was open at Epcot so we didn't get to do Body Wars. It closed at 7 PM and by the time I remembered it was too late. Bummer.

Glynis - That was fast! I just mailed the cards on Monday at MK.

On with my recap:

MVMCP was fun! We started out by going to get our pins. That line wasn't terribly long but it WAS terribly slow! After we got the AP pin and the MVMCP pin we decided to see the show at the castle. We sat on the ground right in front of the castle and we had a great view. I spoke to Vicki while we were waiting - they were headed to Mickey's Night Before Christmas so we decided to try to find each other for fireworks.

After the show we were trying to head to Frontierland to get a spot for fireworks, but it was really crowded back there! We ended up standing kind of on a little wall near the Diamond Horseshoe where we could see OK but not terrific. We got a photo with Scrooge McDuck, then we decided we better try to find a spot for fireworks. We snagged a bench on one of the bridges between the castle and Tomorrowland, right near Belle's garden and Cosmic Ray's. We should have learned in August that the trees block the view from there, but we thought we were back far enough that the trees wouldn't matter. WRONG! So our view wasn't great. And my phone died so Vicki & I were having a hard time connecting. I went to Cosmic Ray's for snacks while DH held our bench. DS fell asleep on the bench. He's not much of a night owl. The line was atrocious! I made it back with our cookies and cocoa just in time. After the fireworks Vicki and Chuck found us and we had a nice chat. From there we did a few rides because DH & DS were grousing. DS had his photo with Belle and Beast and the Queen of Hearts. Belle was in her Christmas gown and she was absolutely beautiful - she looked just like the animated Belle.

We left MK just before midnight, which was pretty amazing since we had been there since 9 AM!

Oh, forgot to mention the pirate tutorial. We did that in the afternoon. Very fun, and Captain Jack is very much like Johnny Depp in his mannerisms and voice. DS got a neat little scroll saying he is a junior pirate or something along those lines. Worth stopping to see!
