Bernadette raised my curiosity with her comment that Santa doesn't wrap presents at her house. Does anyone else do this? We have two trees, and I was thinking that we'd put wrapped presents from Mommy and Daddy under our traditional tree (in the living room) and an unwrapped Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and accessories from Santa under our Disney tree in our family room.

Santa doesn't wrap in our house either. When you come down on Christmas morning the Santa gift (which is only one main gift with maybe an accessory or two if warranted) is set out in front of the tree or fireplace along with the child's stocking. Everyone else's full stockings are set out in that area too. Like Bernadette, the Santa gifts are fully assembled, out of the box and ready to play with. For Terra, it will be her Deigo Resuce Center all set up with her stocking next to it. Rachel is getting a camera so hers will be out of the package and sitting by her stocking. I like it this way because you get that first shot of excitement walking in and knowing exactly what you got! The pictures captured are great.

We visited Santa at the mall on Sunday. Kevin brought his new camera too, and these are some of the images he captured, along with a few others from the day.

As you can see, Santa couldn't make Matthew smile, but his sister sure can! :goodvibes

So cute!! I can't believe how much Alyssa has grown up in just the last couple of months!

I've just got to remember that even if I don't get it all done we will still have an awesome trip-I could go to Disney with my camera and clothes on my back and have an awesome time. Can't wait to meet you! In case I don't get back on in the next few days-safe travels!

Absolutely! Nothing left that a few minutes digging out clothes and a $6 autograph book couldn't make up for. We've been long set for plans, meals etc so anything else is just bonus. See you next weekend!!! I'll have to add putting your phone number on my cell phone to my list today. Call me anytime! Safe travels to you as well.

I read that alot on the boards too..that the gifts from Santa were unwrapped. I always had mine wrapped as a kid from Santa so that is what I do...everything is wrapped & Santa's gifts have special Santa paper that the kids have never seen before..but thats just what I was brought up on..I see some people don't wrap from Santa (which is a heck of alot easier!!!! :teeth: )

Tammi thanks for the phone call! Becky left it on the answering machine for me to hear! As I posted earlier, we made it with no problems. I'm catching up first and then will start a trip report and post some pictures.

Amy, your kids are so cute, and Matthew is getting so BIG! Loved all the pictures!

Riley lost another tooth last night. He showed me that it was loose & went in the bathroom. He came out with the tooth in his hand. I told him to put it in a baggie & not forget to put it under his pillow for the tooth fairy. His reply "mom don't wake me up when you get under my pillow to take my tooth & leave money" :rolleyes1

I know they don't believe anymore, but it would be nice if they could pretend for my sake :rotfl:

Oh man, that stinks. Maybe since we haven't heard from her she got an earlier flight? (wishful thinking on my part). Kristine, I'm thinking of you and hope you get to FL soon!

I'm sure you all know by now that Kristine took an earlier flight and got out before the airport was closed. It was fantastic meeting her & her family. Wow, do she & Bill look awesome! She looks skinnier in person than in the pictures. Bill had to show me his belly and it is quite flat!

Has it hit everyone that Christmas is ALMOST here!?!

It hit me on the return flight. I don't know how I'll ever be ready. There is so much to get done. Unlike most of you, I don't have one thing purchased yet for Christmas. The last couple of years, we don't have much under the tree since we give money to the girls for Disney & college. They are both trying to get rid of "stuff" so I don't want to add to the collection. We did get Becky her coveted LaNouba circus tent (made from from one of their actual circus tents) purse while we were down there. She went back and forth about getting it while we were there in March. She's regretted not getting it ever since. That was one of our errands while we were there. We took a nice walk at Downtown Disney yesterday and went all the way to LaNouba to get it. She will be SO happy. She has mentioned it at least 20 times since March.

Hi Vicki!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Anne Marie!

I'm slowly catching up. I guess with 7 of us at Disney, there wasn't as much chatting as normal because I only have 50 pages to catch up on from being gone 5 days.
