I designed it using a CAD program and cut it on a CNC machine. It was a little complicated and took a few test runs to get the shape I wanted. Designing a flat shape is one thing. Designing a bowl shape is another. Are you willing to share how you made this? It is incredible!
This is amazing!!! Lucky kids!!! I love decorating our house for the holidays, we have won a contest too! Potter counts, Disney almost bought it after all! I sometimes think about what that would have turned out like if Disney got their hands on it, but I think Universal did great! I cant even say which if your designs I love more because theyre all amazing!I love making things, so for this past Halloween I did a Harry Potter themed trunk for my son’s schools trunk or treat. I know HP isn’t Disney, but it’s close enough lol. I’ll go over some things I made.

I made this sign, and every part of it.

I made the mandrake out of clay, an old flower pot and fake leaves. I hand made the label and aged it to look old and dirty.

I made a giant whomping willow and the car that got stuck in it, can’t tell in the pic but it has working lights and HP and Ron are seen through all the windows.

I made these three quidditch posts and I made the luggage out of cardboard boxes. The owl we bought from Universal when we were there, it moves and squawks.View attachment 1057667
I made a mini honey dukes.

I made a life sized Dobby the house elf. His heads sculpted from clay, body is various materials. He turned out so cute!

I made a mini pensieve, with a magical bottle floating over it depositing a “memory”.

I made a potions station, hand making the labels on most of them and filling bottles with potions from the movies/books.

I made/put together lots of other stuff too. Here’s a close up of inside the trunk.

Here’s a wider view. We had HP music going too, it was so beautiful. The honeydukes was off to the side and was where we were handing out candy. We won “Best Trunk” for the fourth year in a row lol. Maybe I’ll post another time last years trunk, which was Nightmare Before Christmas themed.
I love having a talent that can be used for gifts, just like you all friends, family, even doctors receive a candle during the holidaysI am a knitter. Lately I am on a blanket kick. They are pretty easy and mindless so good for when I visit my mom at her facility. I actually typically just leave it there and pick it up to work on while I am there. I do have a few things I have made that are Disney-esque (usually colors, but have 1 blanket that gives a really Minnie polka dot dress feel and have made some beaded knit ornaments that are very Disney type colors). I have one that has a small world feel to it, but I kind of think that is with my mom's tree at the facility she resides at. I do not ever sell them, but probably every friend has received one or more of them for their families. I typically do not start making more for the year until around October.
Not the best picture --- gold with red and black beads for Mickey and Red with white beads for MinnieView attachment 1057695
Youre welcome! I knew there was some awesome creatives here and i am not disappointed! Jasmine is my favorite princess too and I just loved her in the live action! What a great talent to have for RunDisney events! Kind of obsessed with that Jasmine costume and shoes!!Thank you so much @Girlstar30 for starting such a great thread for us creative types! I *love* to sew and craft and bedazzle. I also have a slight Jasmine obsession (lol). I also love RunDisney so when I can combine it all, it's a great day. Just sharing some pics of things I have made...the princess jasmine running costume was from the 10k from 2025 princess weekend. The aurora top is from last month for the half marathon. I also love me some bedazzled mickey ears and I won't leave home without my Jasmine kicks.![]()
I am so inspired and in awe of everyone's talents here! Please keep sharing, I love to see it!

I could see something like this being sold at d23. They except vendors but im sure they charge a pretty penny and that your work takes way too long to complete the amount of orders that would go thru there!Thank you!!!
