Deb - your Christmas card is adorable!!!!

I can't make fun of people who can't work their cell phones. My phone does more crap than you can imagine. Plays MP3s, takes pictures, shoots videos, connects to the internet, on and on! Of course in my possession it is a phone, and only a phone. The one thing it does NOT do is hold a charge in the battery longer than 24 hours! :furious: Free upgrades are not always a good thing.

I need some opinions.

I bought identical gifts for DS's 3 main classroom teachers. Each one is getting an anti-bacterial soap, gel, and lotion from Bath & Body and a $10 gift card to Target. One of the teachers has a teaching asst., and I bought her a $10 gift card for Target as well. I have a brand new hand soap and big tube of body cream on hand, so I thought I might give her one of those. DS really doesn't interact with her that much, so I don't want her gift to be as large as the other teachers. Do you think I should just give her the gift card, or should I add something else? If I add something should I add the hand soap or the body cream? :confused3

My kids main teachers are getting a set of hand towels and a handpainted door stop (from the Christmas Tree Shop) the Aids are just getting the towel sets. We have 5 teachers between the older 2 and one for Colby (which I had forgot until now  )

Hi everyone!
Well thanks for letting me sulk about the missed Disney trip earlier! I feel so much better now..My best friend and I have been talking about going to Disney in May after graduation since summer..We didnt think we were going to be able to swing it ..we just talked for an hour and decided that we are going to each put 30.00 away each week from now til the May..In addition to the 30 is going to any extra money (babysitting, extra gas money, etc)..We only get to see each other 2 times a year, if were lucky, so we figure we can make this trip work! I am actually seeing her on Sunday, after not seeing her since July, and im sooo excited!!!

We also decided to use each other as motivations to lose weight before this trip, so i think between posting on the weight loss post with the DDA and with her, i think i can do it :)

Thanks again guys, i feel so much better!

In case any of you happened to hear that Satan requested a fur coat or saw pigs flying, it really did happen.!! The sky was filled with the oinkers flying all around. They did the V formation, a few musical notes, and the missing team member formation. This was all because..........................

MY DH FINALLY GOT A CELL PHONE!!! :rotfl:

When He asked me the other night, I almost fell off my chair.
When I told Stephanie, she almost fell over while walking :lmao:
I told my sister to really sit down before I told her.

Yes DH has finally come into the 21st century.
Life as we know it will never be the same :rotfl2:

:rotfl: :rotfl: It must be a male thing. Chris insists that he doesn't need a cell phone. I gave him my old tracfone when I got a new plan. He has over 700 minutes on it and he hasn't used it once. In fact it has been sitting in the house with a dead battery for over a week now. He says that it is too bulky. So one of his Christmas presents is a flip phone (tracfone). I'll transfer his number and minutes over to the new phone. I know that we might use it at Disney if we decide to go separate ways which happens with 3 kids of different ages.

But, more importanly, does he know how to use it??? :rotfl2:

He actually managed to set up his voice mail and select a ring tone and even call and leave me a message :rotfl:

Thanks. There is a story behind it. We took the 5 kids and had a photo done for my parents for Christmas and we had just one shot that was usable. Chris and I always take a snapshot of the boys to put in our Christmas cards. Well, we tried on Thanksgiving and didn't get any card worthy shots, a lot of goofy one though. We dressed the kids for the concert tonight and tried again. You guessed it, nothing without flaws. So I took some of the shots and combined them for the card in my signature. They are small enough that you probably don't notice how bad they really are :rotfl: If you look at the one of Chris and I you will see that Chris has his head buried in his hands. That was when he announced that he just gives up. :teeth: So no one is getting a picture of the kids this year, but you guys get to see why :teeth:

I have 10 to buy for, between teachers, aides, daycare providers, ballet and karate instructors, etc. so they are each getting a tin of chocolate covered biscotti. I hope they like it. :guilty:

Hunter's concert was really nice. All the kids did a great job and a few were simply a hoot. One mother sitting in front of me was so embarassed by her son (he was singing much louder then the rest of the kids and making a fool of himself to boot) that she kept sinking lower and lower in her chair. Any lower and she would have been under it :rotfl2: I took a vicadin as we were leaving for the concert and it took about 1 1/2 hours to fully kick in. I was very uncomfortable for the first 1/2 of the concert, but I was feeling much better by the end. Now I'm pretty tired to I think I'll get some sleep. I have a million things to do tomorrow so I'd better be well rested.

Deb

Alright, time for bed i think..
I can sleep in a bit tomorrow and then last day of classes! Hope you guys hvae a great night and im sure ill be all excited tomorrow ;)

Deb - The photo collage is cute! I know when I try to take pics of Brother & Sister it is impossible to get them to both look at the same time, let alone smile! And there are only two of them!

No problem, come here to vent anytime. I'm glad to hear you are planning on WDW for graduation.

As for weight loss, I know you can do it, even if you don't lose anything and just get in better shape, remember you still look fantastic. :thumbsup2

Good night, Deb & Jen!

Tammi - I like biscotti! :teeth: I was teasing Momboss the other day because my birthday was in August and she never even gave me a card. BUT Momboss is a bit organizationally challenged. I know she had every intention of getting me a card, it just never happened. Saying thank you is probably the most important. Adding in some biscotti is even better!!

That's what I figure. When trying to choose gifts I always ask myself if is something I would be happy getting. I certainly would be happy getting biscotti or chocolate, and having them combined is even better!

Janet - They will leave TOMORROW? Okey dokey! I hope they like counter service food! :rotfl: Do they realize kids are getting out of school for the holiday? Friday is the first night of Hanukkah, and Friday is DS's last day of school until Jan. 3. Everybody will be trying to get to Disney before the rates change on Dec. 19. But if they want to leave tomorrow then I wish them all the best!
Ausitn ISD is not getting out till Dec. 21 is their last day they are going back Jan 8.
