Hi there! Seems so long ago since the wedding, huh? I really enjoyed that cruise. I think I will book it for next Dec. too.

Kristine, welcome back! I love the pictures. Your tshirts were wonderful.

Welcome home, Kristine. All of your pictures are just great. I don't think I've seen a bad one.

My Christmas cards are addressed, signed, and stamped. I just have to finish our Christmas letter and insert it. :woohoo:

Chuck & I absolutely loved the cruise. Thanks so much for organizing it all for us. What did you think of the other grand gathering events that you guys were doing? I so want to get involved in another one in Feb.

I'm going to bed too. Goodnight everyone.

I'm in the same boat for our trip in February. I have to sit down and run the numbers from our trip last week. However, I then want to sit down and figure out where we are eating for our Feb. trip and have Chuck & Becky look at the menus to see what they think they would order so I can run those numbers.

So far in Feb. we have reservations for CRT and Brown Derby Fantasmic package. We also have our Segway tour booked for the 1st morning which we saved 15% on since I'm an AP holder. :woohoo: Chuck wants to eat at Sci Fi one day as well and he also thinks he wants to try Trails End.

With those meals I think you'd do better with DDE as CRT & Brown Derby are 2 points each and Sci Fi and Trails End are relatively inexpensive so those 4 meals wouldn't be a "good" use of points. Have fun with the math!

I have been doing some shopping for myself along with the Christmas stuff. I should be pretty well set for our July trip :rotfl2: I've got 2 Rechargable Canon Digital Camera batteries coming. 2 more Camcorder batteries and they have at least twice the original power. I'm hoping to have enough battery power to get us through each day without having to run back to the hotel to recharge. I was suprised that a 128 mb sd card only hold 45 pictures at full quality. I think I have 3 cards that are that size and I bought a new 1 gb card. Hopefully that will give me enough space to take all the pictures I want and download to the laptop each night. I also found a really small tripod, sd card case and pen style lens cleaning kit. I already bought myself the laptop and a new camera plus the digital dvd camcorder from last year. I think I've covered all the electronic bases. Best of all everything is much more compact so it won't suck so bad hauling it all around. How many spare batteries do you carry for your cameras?

Deb

1 extra set of batteries has always been enough for me.

The Int'l dinner & Illuminations was great. We really enjoyed it. Before the evening was over...somehow Bill & I, Marti & Paul and Dave & Christy ended up on stage having to do a little dance number in front of everyone. It was pretty darn funny!!

The safari event wasn't that good. I wouldn't do that one again.

Do you mean like card games? His socks go under the tree as I buy him a 6or is it 8 pack. he does not llike the slipper socks. He still has a ton of candy left that he bought after Halloween so I don't want to buy him anymore. but I had thought of that. I got him the imaginers guides for MK and Epcot as christmas presents.
Yes...card games.

Your question reminded me that I haven't purchased the almanac yet and really haven't purchased anything for his stocking. I did get him a CD and DVD from the History Channel that I guess I could put in there.

How about getting a few wallet size photos from your trip? Won't take up much room in the stocking but you've got some really great ones. I really love the one of Olivia on his shoulders.

:grouphug: Sorry to hear about your brother.

Kristine-Welcome Home!!! Love all your photos!

Debbie-hope your keeping warm. :grouphug:

Deb-hope your back continues to improve and good luck with the mouse house.

I took my Christmas photo yesterday and used Kodak Gallery for just prints that I'll put in "regular" cards. I really like their quality and I paid for an upgraded membership that gets me 4x6 prints for 10 cents. I also finally ordered prints from both Lizzy's birthday trip and our family August trip of the kids with the characters to put in a photo album with the autograph cards. I also ordered Lizzy a photo collage. I'm a bit anxious to see how that comes out. I've got my address labels printed for the Christmas cards so I should start the cards tommorow night and then I'll just have to stick the photos in. I did pay the extra for express shipping so I'm hoping the prints arrive before I leave for WDW.

I've packed all my clothes so now I just need toiletrees and electronic stuff. My checked baged is well stuffed so I'm hoping I have room in my carry on to bring a few things home. Lizzy said she wants a keychain so that will be easy to fit in.

Still need to make my postcards.

I best go to bed. My shoulder has been bad. I had surgery on it 16 years ago and its been pretty good since I had Lizzy but its been bad off & on lately. I think part of it is lack of sleep and our poor matress. We paid a fortune for it and it is only 5 years old and I HATE it. I really loved the matress at the Poly. I think the CR has the same thing. I'm looking forward to a few comfortable nights.

Hi, all,

It was a busy last few days, but I'm caught up again. :grouphug: :wizard: for all who need it. Especially Marci - I have been thinking and praying for you guys all day. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

My BIL, SIL, and two nieces came to visit this weekend. My nieces are 4 (almost 5) and 3, and are just too cute. If I could be promised that I would have kids as cute as them, we'd start trying tomorrow. :teeth:

My firm had a children's holiday party, so we took them to that Saturday morning, where they got to ride ponies, make puppets, and see Santa. We ran out of time to try the ice skating, and as that is all they could talk about, we had to take them skating afterwards at a local mall. Needless to say, I was the only adult that had ever skated before, so it proved for an interesting hour! They agreed that it was much harder than it looked when we were done!

They left this morning, and I've been running around trying to get stuff done ever since. I'm going to wrap a few presents shortly, and then call it a night. I have begun thinking about what I'll be packing for our trip, but that's about as far as I've gotten. As if this week wouldn't be bad enough, I proceeded to wear a hole in my favorite pair of jeans' knee, so I'm now on the hunt for a new pair of jeans before Thursday. I put jeans shopping right up there with bathing suit shopping - they don't make the cut in Calvin Klein that my old ones were anymore, and I spent over 2 hours at the mall today trying over 30 pairs of jeans. I have a pair that will "do" if necessary, but they're not exactly what I want. Ugh.

I hope everyone has good Mondays - I will try to check in when I can!

Loved all the pictures tonight!! :goodvibes My computer didn't like them as well!!

It had been so long since I've been to Tamarac Square...where Tuba Christmas was that I nearly put us on the wrong side of LoDo (lower downtown Denver) ;) . We were over an hour early and still had rotten spots to see. Abi was the second youngest player of 340+ tuba, euphonium and baritone players. She did awesome and we could see her most of the time. We got pictures of her and her teacher and she said tonight that she was doing it next year, and next, and next until she stops playing baritone....probably when she dies. :teeth:

But 3 hours on my feet for that and 3 hours for laundry...my puppies are hurting!! I didn't realize how much I relied on Jim pack muling the laundry until I had to heft it up those stairs myself.

I have a teen in my home  .....Cassidy has been a total teen since Friday in talking to me, she's been totally disrespectful....didn't seem to matter that I grounded her through the entire Christmas break...may hit home when she's actually home!!

Lindsay- :wizard: :wizard: Good like finding some jeans.

Theresa- Glad to hear Abi enjoyed the Tuba Christmas. Sorry that Cassidy has been disrespectful. :grouphug: :wizard: that Jim's arm is doing better soon.
