I know it's been forever, and half of you probably have no clue who I am, but for those that remember me. Check out the new signature line at the bottom.

Congrats! It was nice to see you on the thread!

Jen, try not to worry about it. You will do just fine. It very likely has more to do with it being your last year. I know that Becky is starting to stress a little over things because it is her senior year of high school and she is starting to worry about what comes next. That stress is pouring over into other things so she is worrying more about things that she normally wouldn't.

You will do great!!! Even in Art! Just apply yourself like you always do and you'll get through it just fine!

Vicki-thank you :goodvibes i think you are right..im getting nervous about student teaching, although i cant wait to actually be teaching..i love teaching at the day care and am ready for it,,just nervous about finding a job!
thanks so much

"Gotta go pick up a G-String for Katie"

Glynis, what kind of mother are you?! ;)

My mother had to pick up a g-string for my grandfather once. My sister couldn't figure out why in the world my grandfather would want a g-string. She was totally embarrassed when my mom walked in the store and asked for it. Then she realized it was for his violin.

Good Morning all. I see that Vicki is trying to catch up on the oodles of pages that were posted while she was relaxing at her own private little campground. I am so jealous. It was nice to only have a few pages to read this morning. I'll take that at a hint to get some housework done. Oh yeah, I finally book the first 2 parts of our 2007 vacation. I can't book the last part for 5 more days, but I'm glad to have some booked. Since we are going to be there for 3 weeks we've decided to try 3 different DVC resorts and a few nights in the regular resorts on the weekends as I'm trying to save points for a quick halloween or christmas trip :teeth: I guess I'll have to give Chanon a call when I'm ready to book our regular hotel rooms :cool1:

Deb

It was a little peace of heaven! We found a new campground this year which was awesome. The campsites are all the way around this lake. Each site is very isolated from the other sites so it is like you have your own little place. We just left the kayaks on the beach every night. My friend Bob got two sites right next to each other since we were camping together. There was a loon singing on the lake every day. He swam by our site the last morning. There was a family of ducks that kept coming to our site for handouts. They were so adorable. We saw an eagle fly over the lake several times. Chuck & my friend Liz got close to the loon while they were out kayaking one afternoon and while they were just sitting and watching it, the eagle flew right over them. We went and saw 3 water falls. We found 5 geocaches. The weather was absolutely beautiful. We had a campfire every night. It truly was awesome. The sad thing is that they are closing these sites and making a more traditional campground because they are selling off some of the land to a private business which will ruin it with condos. Oh well. We got to enjoy it for one year!

I  to color...great stress reliever!! I love the first one you posted also...may have to print that and color it too!!

I have my own coloring book for this very reason. I haven't done as much coloring as I used to do. I should get it out. Chuck & Becky got me a new Disney coloring book and Becky wants me to scan the pictures that I want to try to color on line so she can start coloring!

You guys were chatty this week-end. I've been reading all morning and I'm still back on page 4015. I'm never going to get caught up.

My sinuses are really driving me crazy. I'll be fine for a couple of days and then go through an entire box of kleenex as my nose won't stop running. I have a doctors appointment this afternoon. I'm afraid I may now have allergies.

Sorry about that :teeth: Usually I am at work myself. It's not on again tonight though :guilty:

Good morning, DDA! Here are the "top ten" from our first MGM day (day #3).

The day dawned a bit too early for some of the group. "Why do we have to get up early just to wait in line for the park to open?":

Obligatory RnR shot...though I seem to have lost a couple members of my party:

Great shots, keep em coming! Did your kids ride ToT or RnR? None of my kids would ride it. Your ToT guy really looks the part!

Good morning DDA!

We had a very nice, relaxing weekend in Kentucky. I am so glad we went, my boys just love it there. My cousin is out of the hospital & can walk with a cane. Her left arm is still paralizied, but we all have faith that she will get the use of her arm back. She has lost alot of weight, but considering what she is going through, I thought she looked pretty good. Her motor skills are still slow & she has to have her dh remind her what she is suppose to be doing. Her whole life has been changed, but she is strong & I know she will pull through this.

I came home with a nice head cold  Hope everyone else is doing fine.

How is June & Caroline?

Hope to try & get caught up!

Sounds like your cousin is a strong lady. Hope she continues to improve. :grouphug:

My baby is off to school for her first day of her last year in high school! :sad2: She was really excited. She has always loved school both for the social and learning aspect. I did something right with that one. Most of her friends took a light schedule since it is their senior year. She has decided to take French and Psychology as well as regular English and Math and 2 more classes. They haven't let her take a foreign language or regular English class because of her learning comprehension problems. They have decided that she is probably ready for regular English this year instead of the special class that they set up for those with learning disabilities. I think she harrassed them into letting her try French. She has been wanting to for years now.

Hope she has a great first day.
