Well, I would think so!

My fear of shark stems back to when we lived in Baytown, TX in the 80's. There was a teenage girl swimming in the Gulf...she was only waist-deep. Well, it was her TOM and a shark was attracted to her. Her dad was beating the shark with all his strength, but it still managed to take her arm.

I realize this is an isolated story, but it scared the heck out of me, and I don't like to swim in salt water. Plus, I got stung by a jellyfish once, and that wasn't fun either.

There have been quite a few shark attacks in the Gulf waters over the past few years, they were all close to shore also. Sometimes they will show an arial veiw of the beaches and you would not believe how many sharks there are close to where people are swimming.

We loved San Antonio Sea World, but now we know that when they say Splash Zone, they mean SPLASH ZONE!

That's for sure! I love Sea World, but it's so hard to tear ourselves away from Disney when we're in Orlando!
