Oh, I know. The best was when I had Katie ask for a G string. She was 7 and had just started playing the violin. She walked up to a clerk and asked very politely for a g-string 3/4 size. The look on the clerk's face was priceless. I was giggling in the background as he hemmed and hawed. Finally, I stepped up and said, "she wants a g string for her violin." The relief on his face was huge!

That would have been priceless to see.

You mean you simply thought I just meant "I have more important things to buy than a TV show on DVD"? Apparently you and I communicate very differently than these other crazy ladies!

I didn't mean for it to invoke such a reaction!

Sorry. All us "oldies" are living through you young'uns. Our minds just automatically go to babies. Besides, maybe if we pester you enough, you'll cave and make us all virtual grammies, and aunties. No pressure of course. Take your own sweet time! We can wait!

Have you read the Princess Diaries? If not, a warning, there is very little the same between the books and the movies.

I've got them on hold at the library. Thanks for the warning. I'll check them all out before I purchase the set. Somtimes I like for the books to be different from the movie, as that gives me a chance for a good discussion with Katie. I'll read them and the Sisterhood before I make a decision. Anyone else have any ideas?

The one that Cassidy loves right now is the Mates, Dates series. Though this is definitely older kids as one of the titles is Mates, Dates and Inflatable Bras.

Iago or the incredibles either would be good... which does she know? neither really I don't think she would recoginize the bird as we have only wathced aladdin a couple of times.

Not as bad as we feared. They were very understanding about it. Alan will give up the next few weekends (read: Glynis will be alone with the children for the next few weekends) so that he can re-shoot the material and get the project done (again).

Thank heaven the clients are laid back kind of people. It could have been much worse. The worst is that we won't be charging for the re-shoot, so that's time and money lost, but at least it's not a client lost! Gotta think positively.

I had another meeting this evening, or so I thought!! Got there, after scarfing dinner down and nobody else in the building . It obviously got cancelled and no one called me!!!

Oh well more time for my baby!! Abi is feeling a bit left out while trying to get Cassidy settled at school.

Had hoped more information on Caroline...but I will keep praying and checking in through out the night!!
