me after my p82 last night! If you ever need help getting to a milestone you know who to call :teeth:

Have a good day y'all

Christi - I think I missed you in my catch up - hope you and your family are ok.

Jo - good luck for the move tomorrow - I am so JEALOUS that you are moving to Florida!

Actually I got a kick out of your P82 and also will be playing a variation of this game on our trip. So thanks for the idea. :thumbsup2 We will probably do characters though as the kids know the character names best. :)

Good Morning,

I've got a quick question before I head out to work, I'm putting together a Power Point Presentation of our last trip, and I'm trying to find a good song to play at the beginning. I had "When you Wish Upon a Star" but it really is too slow for what I wanted. Any suggestions?

PS - it's gotta be Disney

Chat with you later,

Debbie
I rather like the music to Fantasmic It has different paces throughout the song so don't know if it would work. :confused3

Thanks, Christi, we are. Terra and Connor are getting along much better and only have minor scuffles each day. I don't think that there has been any hitting for at least 2 days (knock on wood). Now we just need to get Daddy here! (He'll be here by Friday.)

Speaking of which, Phil has been feeling especially "zonked", as he calls it, meaning that he is constantly feels like he needs to sleep even though he is getting more than enough of it. He is a little concerned about driving while feeling that tired so could use some prayers and pd if you all could. He will be on the road either Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning through sometime on Friday. I know that he will stop often if he needs to, but I know that he is worried.
:wizard: He will definitely be in our prayers. It is hard to drive long distance feeling Zonked. This is why our yearly visit to relatives may have to go to every other year as it is hard for me driving that distance with my energy levels fluctuating due to my thyroid. I hope that he gets there soon and that the kids continu to do so well. :wizard:

Thanks for the pixie dust. He was up all night long with a couple of computer techs who couldn't retrieve anything, either. He's going to try a couple of other things, but he's not too optimistic! He'll probably just have to start over and hope the client will be ok with that.
:wizard: I hope it goes well with the client.

It was a good parade....no stops though:guilty: harder on the parents to give water...I have also decided that I can't be the mom to pass water out and walk with the parade :guilty: . Too hard on me and the kids. But the weather was perfect 70 degrees and the kids did well....a second place in their conference(4A) and 4th overall. They also had an awesome audience performance later in the day.

We had a tornado warning(actually saw the tornado forming, don't think it ever touched) at the very tail end of the day and passed flash flooding. I was thankful we had decided to take Cassidy home with us rather than on the bus as that allowed us to wait the majority of the storm out in a secure building. Though we say things on the way home I've never seen before....a water rescue (flash flooding of an underpass I guess scared the bejeebers out of the driver and she had to be rescued.) and a rollover. Thankfully no one was hurt and we made it home in one piece...tired but in one piece.
Glad you made it home OK sounds like a long day. Hope you got to relax Sun. :)

I don't really have any. I never really started writing until I was a teacher. I never took any formal writing classes in college. I always wanted to, but the literature classes were where I spent all my time.

Give me the names of some to look up. I would really appreciate it!
OOh I took all Literature classes for every elective and english fulfillment. I just loved reading before I had kids now I never set aside the time. :guilty:

I finished the ballet skirt!!!!!!! It has taken way to long and I so do not want to make another ANY time soon. The darn jewels on the tulle under the first layer has caused me SOOOOOOO many problems. Anyway here it is.

It's beautiful. You are very talented. I'm sure she'll love it.

Thanks for sharing Jennifer, your house is beautiful!

All right, here it is! Finally, huh? It's actually not all that long, but please don't get your hopes up. It's seriously just a house, and a half-finished one at that :) And I didn't even employ any spectacular photography skills or anything!

I started a thread asking about autograph books/pages and I figured I should show you all what I was talking about.
I used Vicki's, Clare's and one other person (off the top of my head I can't remember the designer) autograph pages.
The plan is to use the memory book I bought at Michael's, it hold picture size 5X7. I took out the pages and bought index cards size 5X8, had the office Depot folks "drill" (that's what they called it) holes in the cards.
I have printed out the desgins to about 6 3/4 X 4 3/4 give or take a little.

My goal is to use these books over and over again. I will cover the front in Disney fabric and keep the plastic cover on them so the fabric stays nice.

I hope this works, it seems to look like it will. I also plan to have mnay different pages of the same character (we have seen Belle and Cinderella three times in one trip and they can't sign the same pages now can they).

Anyone willing to share the pages they have made, I am very happy to take a copy.

So far the girls love the idea and can't wait to show Daddy.

Now the pictures.......

So what do you think?
Cool idea. I love the idea of putting them in an album. I have to get busy with autograph pages for the boys for our fall trip as well and I wanted to do some journal pages. DH just put photoimact 8 on my computer that he got from the office for free. So will be fooling around with it tryingto figure it out. If I can make it work well I might get the newer version for Christmas. :Pinkbounc I also hope some designers come up with some fall designs as I would like to make shirts for our trip and know I'll never figure out shirt designing any time soon.

I am so sorry to hear this :guilty: I am back on page 3848, if there are any new updates, can someone please pm me?

June you are in my thoughts, I hope you are feeling better soon :grouphug:

I have some news about June.... I just got off the phone with her daughter, Melanie. June has pneumonia and is in the hospital in Virginia Beach and will be there a few more days. She won't be going to WDW either. :-(

Melanie has to take her daughters back to NY tomorrow and June will eventually move into the home of a friend of her son. After that they will get her back home to finish her recuperation. I am trying to see if we can do anything for her while she is at the hospital. I will get back to you all about that,

Glynis,
How did Alan's meeting go with the client?

Would you believe I haven't heard, yet? I'm hoping that no news is good news. Alan should be home in about 3 hours, so I'll be able to let you all know then.

I plan to take the pages out and scrapbook them. I will pencil in the dates on the back of each page after the trip so I will have them ready when I scrap them. Now mind you I have only done four total pages of scraping. I have just about 5 years of Ellie to do and almost three of Bethie to do. WOW that's a lot to do.
I only have 20 pages and I have 4 kids to get caught up. I figure if I catch up before they graduate HS I'll be doing good. :rotfl:
