How did you like it? I absolutely adore W&G. I had a substitute teacher who was apparently really into the whole underground W&G thing in the US, before the movies were more widely released. I guess my mom found the movies online when I was in middle school and we had a few of them that I completely wore out! I was so happy to see them released here, and then the full-length movie!!! And when I watched it, I was amazed at how funny they were from an adult standpoint as well.... so witty! ::yes::

I hope you guys enjoyed it!

We did enjoy it! It was so funny on so many levels. I'm not a really bit W&G fan, but I did enjoy it. It was more fun to watch my kids cracking up at all the jokes. They love Chicken Run, too. It was a fun night.

It's funny, but we started Family Fun Movie Night one Sunday when it was too stormy to go out and do anything, and now they look forward to it. They plan out what our "treat" is going to be, and I have to choose a movie to "surprise" them with. They hate it when we can't have our movie night. I guess it's a fun tradition for them! We'll keep it up as long as they want to (and maybe longer!). It's fun to just spend time with the family without computers or phones, etc.

I hate to burst your bubble Elin, but from what I've heard, adult clothing does not go so well at yard sales. Does anyone have any info to the contrary?

I've heard the same thing. I've been taking my old clothes to our local thrift store. I get a nice tax write off for charitable donations, and call it good. I've thought about a consignment shop, but I don't know how well "tents" go. :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Kristin just turned 20 this month and Kathrin will turn 28 on our WDW trip in October. So, if I remember correctly... you are between them, right?
I'm pretty sure that she is older than 28, I think she is going to be 30 on November 13th of this year. If I am completly wrong Clare please hit me. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I on the other hand am smack in the middle at 24 as of June 11th.

Hi, all!

We are finally home, but I wish we were still at Disney. I have a ton of laundry to do, and I need to get out to the store. And I have to start thinking about school which starts in 9 days for the kids and my preschool starts the week after that!

Thanks so much to Paula for our SSP! Bernadette and Anne Marie were surprised! I'm sorry that it became such a hassle (who would think that someone else with my name would check-in/out on the same days as me!). I have a photo of Bernadette and myself somewhere on CD, but they one with the three of us didn't get taken with my camera. I'm sure that Bernadette or Anne Marie can supply one when they get back.

It was a wonderful, marvelous trip. The weather was almost perfect. The crowds were light. The free dining was delicious. Fourteen days was too long for two members of my party, about right for two, and too short for me!

I'll fill you all in more later, but I have to get some things done around here. I also have to organize the 1200+ photos that I took.

Would someone please PM me a synopsis of the past two weeks? There is no way that I can ever catch up at this point!

Beth

Beth - welcome home! I can't wait to see pictures and hear all about it. As for a recap, I'll do my best and hope that someone else can fill in the gaps!

June - is still very ill and hospitalized in Virginia Beach. Her lungs are full of fluid, and it's going to take a long time for her to recover. Elin has an address if you want to send a card. PM her for details.

Clare - managed to snatch a milestone, finally! No more Susan Lucci for her. She did it with an incredible game of Disney ABC's.

Tammi - got a darling Alice costume for Alyssa and found an orange blazer and won a top hat for Nicholas for MNSSHP. They are going to be darling!

Jennifer (bear) - is recuperating from her ankle, and is back at work. Sadly for us, that means she doesn't post as often as when she was home full time!

Jo - Is moving today! We are all excited and can't wait to hear that she made it to Florida safely and that she and Ramiro are settled!

Jennifer (tink2020) - posted pictures of her house and it is looking really good!

Elin - has dropped another pants size, and her daughters treated her to a new makeover. We're waiting for pictures!

Dawn - had Caroline and we finally got to see a picture! She's a living doll! I think they are probably home from the hospital now, but I'm not sure. Amy probably knows.

Amy - is getting really good at posting on the DIS while watching two little ones. Her snappy sense of humor is back which either means she is finally getting some more sleep, or that she is always punchy from lack of sleep!

Denise - has been working frantically to get her room ready for school. She starts this week, I believe. She has had a sinus thing going on, and hasn't felt too good. The triplets are still doing well in school, all things considered!

Marti - took Matt to a karate showcase and when they got home locked the keys to the house in the car. It was a pain, because there was an ice cream cake locked in the back seat of the car. Took a while to get in and get it all cleaned up.

Jennifer (blueeyes) - finished up her work and is missing the kids terribly! She has also been asked to be godmother to her best friends daughter. What an honor.

Tia - and Terra are settling in nicely, and loving the move! Phil is leaving to join them this week, and by Friday they should all be reunited. We're all praying that it goes smoothly, and that Friday is a happy day!

Marci - is having some health problems with her mom. We're hoping that things will smooth out for her, and that the doctor's can figure out how to help her mom.

Karen - her grandmother is also not doing so well, and she has been visiting and helping out. Our prayers continue to be with her.

Theresa - walked a parade with her daughter's band and found it to be more difficult than she thought! It was a nice parade. Huge storm on the way home, and they saw some incredible flooding, etc.

Deb - built a deck on the back of the house this weekend. We are waiting for pictures.

Kristine - She and Bill have both lost 25 pounds and we are so proud of them!

Debbie - went to a soldier birthday party for her DGS, and the pictures were really cute! We are also hoping that Ernesto will bypass the Gulf coast.

I know I'm forgetting someone, so feel free to fill in the blanks.

Some people are so picky...your light fixture is only off by a few feet! :teeth:

And "gross out" is an understatement...did the storm wake you up this morning? I can't believe Alyssa slept through it...the whole house was shaking!

By the way, she's currently looking out the front window watching for Jennifer. :rotfl:

ok, like 5 feet! :rotfl:

But it's done now, and they even hung the new fixture we bought. Seriously, who pays for an 'upgrade' of a silly looking gold fixture in a kitchen with all stainless stuff?!?!

And the idea of her watching for me just tickles me to death! Totally makes up for her getting distracted by whatever it was that pulled her from duty on Friday! :teeth:

That does sound fun! When we went to Disney with my family, we had a Disney movie night every sunday with them as well. We loved those days! :goodvibes

Here's the new light fixture! :)

Everything else done today was not worth mentioning (adjusting swollen doors, etc)

Thea is quite happy to be out of the gameroom, and she's STILL running around making sure there aren't any extra people hanging around :rotfl:

ETA: Ok, ignore the hole in the ceiling :) They're coming to fix that next week!

Had a bunny as a child.
Raised them when we lived in Texas.
Can be litter box trained.
Only problem is they are chewers.
Have the toe nails cut.
Are very sharp and they kick hard with their back feet.
How old are your children?
I don't think they are good pets for small children.
They take a lot of care.
Also if not handled correctly, can seriously harm a child.

sounds like a guinea pig....girls are 10 and 14....not too young!!

Amy -- are the figures/statues that were in your living room the garden statues from disneyshopping.com?

Wow! Glynis - I'm impressed! That is some recap :thumbsup2

Well, after spending 4 days with Mom nonstop...she's missing me. :teeth: I think she's coming to my house tonight and is cooking dinner. Go figure! :teeth:

Jennifer - Did I mentioned I like the house? I like the new light fixture. Where'd you get it? I've been looking for one for over my dining room table for a while now. But I also have to paint the living room, dining room, computer room and bathroom before I can deal with light fixtures...but light fixtures are so much fun! It's nothing compared to painting! Any new ideas on a chair for the master?

I forgot to tell you all what my Dr said on friday. she said that I definetally tore my tendon. she said at least half way or more but not completely. she said to keep wearing the aircast and wraping it with the ace wrap. though she did not say for how long. I am hoping it will be completey well by my trip. as the aircast makes my leg sweat and thus makes my leg itch. She offered to right an order for me to stay off work for awhile longer. but I told her I did not have enough sick time left. so trying to stay off it as much as I can when I am home and sitting as much as possible when at work. which is hard for a nurse sometimes.
of Course you all would have laughed at me sat and sun. its the weekend so the managers our not their so I sat down in a wheelchair and wheeled my self up and doen the halls. would park the wheelchair outside of the room of my patient then walk in the room take care of the patient then go back out of the room to the wheelchair sit and chart then go back to the desk.
