Thanks--I asked them , but they have not decided what church they will be joining yet..they justmoved to that area and are working on that now!

I don't think they have to be confirmed, I will ask DH or our friends. I think you must be catholic and that's it. The church has changed a bit in the past 20 years.
As far as "full" catholic, I should have said he was raised catholic and I married into it and agreed to raise my kids catholic. I had planned on going to the classes to become a converted cathloic, but have yet to do that. My dog tags say cathloic and I go to mass, but just have not taken the convert classes.

Thanks for your help--I figured things had changed in the last 22 years..The "full" catholic makes sense now--think im just tired and didnt pick up on it..thanks again!

I am what is considered in the Catholic church a "lapsed" Catholic....I have not taken communion (in the Catholic church), gone to confession in about 14 years. Before that I was considered Catholic....baptism, first communion and confirmation. I do go to mass every once in awhile for celebrations....but Jim and I can not take Communion at Mass because of the lapse....but that is the congregations around here...don't know about others.

no problem. I am do a lot of things right now, on the computer, watching vt, and dishes, and working on an SSP.

You are constantly working on SSP's !!! I can't keep secrets....no SSP's in my future!!

My family has all chosen to go to Christian churches....but according to my grandma I will always be a lapsed Catholic. She is in constant prayer for all of us to come back to the Church. It's not enough for her that we are very committed Christians...oh well.

no, you both helped alot...my parents havent been to church in awhile, so i cant ask them..and my grandmother h ates that i dont go to church all the time, so i felt weird asking her..so here i am!
