I wasn't on much last night as my SIL had to rush my Brother to the ER. He is having kidney stone issues again. They drugged him up and sent him home about midnight. They called today and will be doing surgery at 2:30 PM today. He has a stone that is completely stuck so they need to remove it. Any :grouphug: and :wizard: would be appreciated.

Deb

Here's lots of :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: and prayers being sent to your brother.

Hi, Colby!

I think that I have the kids basically ready for school now although when I had them try pants on yesterday that fit at the end of school I found that none yep noda, zero pairs of pants fit. They both got much taller. If any of you come across pants with a size 5 waist and a size 8 length let me know because that is what Hunter needs. I'm pretty sure that they don't exist. I have found a few pairs that will work for the time being, but if he grows 1/2 inch they won't be long enough they are size 7X slim. Nick on the other hand sometimes needs huskey :confused3

Deb

Andrew is built like that too. I've found Gap has pants with I think it's called elastiband. It's elastic inside the waistband that you can tighten by pulling it then puttting it in the inside button and it makes the pants smaller. Old Navy might also carry it, and I think I've also found a similar product at Target. I'll try to remember to check on the brand when I get home from the hospital tonight.

I totally agree it is completly a mental change thing.

I am so proud that you have made the mental change that you needed to in order to be successful. You have done a great job and are an inspiration to me and so many others. I am sure it has not been easy but you have done wonderfully. :thumbsup2 :cool1: :cheer2:

Now you're making me blush! I really appreciate all the cheerleading. I couldn't ever have gotten this far without my wonderful support system!

My face, my legs and in between my hips and chest I have lost inches. But my hips and chest are the same size therefore clothing is fitting so oddly and I am still wearing the same size clothing as I was at the beginning of the year even though it is big at places and has been taken in at those areas because the size smaller is still too small. It is weird hence the reason I found no new clothing tonight. I am sure once I start losing in those areas I will go through the clothing sizes quickly. I'll try clothing shopping again once my TOM is over. :thumbsup2

You are doing so very well! Congratulations, and don't give up! You can do this!!!!! :cheer2:

I think that's the way the NHS were thinking in this girl's case. One of my mum's friend's husbands is due to have it done soon too - I hope it works out as well for him as it has for you - because as I will continue to tell you Glynis, you look amazing and I can't imagine you any other way :goodvibes

Thanks for the compliment! It's an incredible thing if you go into it knowing that there will be hard times, and just commit yourself to doing all you are supposed to. If you need to ask questions for your mom's friend, feel free! I would be happy to share any information that I have!

Tell me I'm not the only one that gets up at 6:30 in the morning and runs the dishwasher and washing machine...

Nope. I do it, too! Is that wrong?????? It's a gentle way for me to get my family up and moving. Better than me yelling at them, right?

This is the best we have ever done...but I can tell you it isn't fun....and we are hungry quite often. Bill goes in waves of crankiness...he misses ice cream.

I'm telling you, Kristine, the Blue Bunny Carb Freedom ice cream is really good. It is sugar free, and so very yummy! I've tried Butter Pecan and Peanut Butter Fudge. They also have ice cream bars that are good and you can control portion size that way. You should really give them a try!

Well, im back from the doctor...Im happy about no surgery, but im not happy with him! I have been having thyroid tumors/problems since i was 8..i can tell when my levels are off and ive been feeling horrible for about a month...he said that "it cant be related to the thyroid"...
So i asked him if we could change the meds and he said no way and that he will check me again in 2.5 months..so maybe things will settle down and if not , maybe he will change s omething....sometimes doctors just drive me crazy~!! sorry, had to vent!

Congratulations on no surgery. That's a very good thing. I'll be praying that your thyroid problems will settle down some in the next couple of months.

As a fellow kidney stone sufferer, I'm sending along as much pixie dust as you want. I hope that he gets some relief, soon!

I have a spreadsheet with the milestones. I just updated it last Thursday. I'll look at it when I get back on tonight.

Amy has folders and Vicki has spreadsheets..... :scratchin

Lets think about this for a bit. :scratchin

Good morning!

I thought you were supposed to slow down once you got the milestone! I have a lot to catch up on this morning.

It's pouring here...definitely not a mood lifter. I drove ds out for cross country practice. Before we left, I said to him, "It's really raining out there if that means anything to you." (As in, do you need to take anything special because of the rain.) His response was, "Yep...it means I'm going to get wet." He is just like his father sometimes.

You should take him a Mickey Mouse rain cover. :rotfl2:
Hope the rain slows down son.

We needed the rain, but it really is a drag. I hope the sun decides to show up a little bit today! :sunny:

And, I'm not really looking forward to Alyssa and Matthew learning the concept of sarcasm! :teeth:

Amy :)

Oh the fun your house will have some day.

Paula, I think it's time to stop teasing me about my folders! :teeth:

Maybe I should..................no, I don't think so.:goodvibes

Amy I think you need to send me a PM with some special info. Don't make me ask Jennifer for it. The girls need it. Everyone else is playing nice.... it's your turn.

Good morning everyone....another day....another soy patty!

Happy soy patty Kristine.
You are all the better for it. Think of it this way.... when you go on vacation it will be wonderful to have a few nice treats.
