I thought you were supposed to slow down once you got the milestone! I have a lot to catch up on this morning.

It's pouring here...definitely not a mood lifter. I drove ds out for cross country practice. Before we left, I said to him, "It's really raining out there if that means anything to you." (As in, do you need to take anything special because of the rain.) His response was, "Yep...it means I'm going to get wet." He is just like his father sometimes.

Hey, crazy spelling woman!! How could you let me have a ticker for over 8 months that said Chrismas and not Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I posted this BEFORE the big milestone last night when you mentioned it the first time.

I thought about telling you countless times...it drove me crazy!

I tried to comment again, but the storm knocked out our internet connection. The permanent spelling error in one of Dawn's tags drives me crazy too.

I got a rash too but mine my skin felt like it was on fire anytime I was in the heat or the sun. I know the exact cause of mine it was the antibiotic I was on though. I was so glad that a lot of the time I was there it was cloudy as my skin didn't feel like it was on fire quite as bad and putting sunscreen on made my skin feel worse as I think it heated the skin quicker. I tried several types of sunscreen thinking they would help and all made it worse.

Sending that his goes away quickly.

That's quite funny! You'd think with it being the World Showcase it would sell authentic food... to be honest I think the rose and crown does... but we had the Harry Ramsdens Fish and chips from the take out place - and they were awful! Nothing like Harry's over here, and way more expensive too! Besides I say when in America you should eat like the Americans do... so that's pancakes and grilled cheese for me

I think that the problem is trying to represent a country by a few foods. I think that the food at the Biergarten is pretty traditional German food. Now there is so much variety/blending in foods from other countries. My brother lived in Germany for 2 years. He went to Italian restaurants, etc. while there as well as eating the more traditional foods. For example, I wouldn't think of pancakes and grilled cheese as typical American foods (though we do eat them), so that is why it's hard to represent an entire country with just a sampling of foods.

We didn't try the Harry Ramsdens Fish (because none of us like fish). Ds bought a container of chips, though, and really enjoyed them.
