Speaking of which - so we know how Debbie is, I've lost track of where Ernesto is headed.

Well, im back from the doctor...Im happy about no surgery, but im not happy with him! I have been having thyroid tumors/problems since i was 8..i can tell when my levels are off and ive been feeling horrible for about a month...he said that "it cant be related to the thyroid"...
So i asked him if we could change the meds and he said no way and that he will check me again in 2.5 months..so maybe things will settle down and if not , maybe he will change s omething....sometimes doctors just drive me crazy~!! sorry, had to vent!

If this has been going on for years... and you know when things are not right.... I think I would talk to him again and or ask for another doc and have a test done. Safety first lady.

I wasn't on much last night as my SIL had to rush my Brother to the ER. He is having kidney stone issues again. They drugged him up and sent him home about midnight. They called today and will be doing surgery at 2:30 PM today. He has a stone that is completely stuck so they need to remove it. Any and would be appreciated.

I'm telling you, Kristine, the Blue Bunny Carb Freedom ice cream is really good. It is sugar free, and so very yummy! I've tried Butter Pecan and Peanut Butter Fudge. They also have ice cream bars that are good and you can control portion size that way. You should really give them a try!

Oh you have to read this how you know you're addicted to the DIS it is scary how many of these things apply to me!

Andrew is built like that too. I've found Gap has pants with I think it's called elastiband. It's elastic inside the waistband that you can tighten by pulling it then puttting it in the inside button and it makes the pants smaller. Old Navy might also carry it, and I think I've also found a similar product at Target. I'll try to remember to check on the brand when I get home from the hospital tonight.

We've tried the elastiband type pants and while we can make the waist fit, the legs and butt are so wide that they look aweful. This is the first year that we've run into trouble. It seems that the juniors or whatever they call it for boys are cut much more generously then the boys sizes. My mom gave me a couple of boxes of Levi's that my brother and I wore as kids. They are cut much slimmer so hopefully I will find some in there that fit. I'm washing them now. I think that clothes were made smaller in the 70's and 80's then they are now. A size 12 then had a 24 inch waist, I bet that they are at least a 28 inch waist now as kids are so much bigger.

I've got the kids now. They said that he's been throwing up since last night. I hope that the surgery gives him instant relief.

So are vintage Levi's still in style? It looks like my kids may be wearing some this year. I need to shorten Nick's about 3 inches, but they fit good everywhere else. I've only found 1 pr each so far, but I've got two more loads to wash so I've got my fingers crossed.
