The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 13

i was coming on here to give an update on my grandmother. i just want june's family to know how sorry we are that she passed. she will be missed greatly.

the update on my grandmother is that she is home and comfortable. i was told she pigged out last night. she swallowed apple juice, soup, and pudding. she was getting mad because the caregiver wouldnt give it to her fast enough. my uncle said that she has moved her right arm some and has even kicked her right leg over the bed so now we are going to try and get pt to come out and work with her some.

if you guys do an exchange i wanna do it to. you can have me down for both monthly and the christmas one or whatever one we do.

Great news about your Grandma! She will continue in my prayers but sounds like she is making great improvement.

I just came here at lunch to catch up and found out the sad, sad, sad news. I can't believe it. (Thanks for the PM Vicki!)

What would you guys think of putting June's photo in our signatures as a tribute to her? Then we could add our own next to hers when we get them taken? I'm sure one of the designers could create a nice tribute with her photo.

I'd like to hang out for a group but I've got to go to a meeting.

It just seems so unfair that this happened to her and she didn't get to go back to Disney.

I would love to do that - can someone point me in the right direction... I can't remember her screen name

I am sitting here in tears - not quite sure what to say, just that for someone I never met I was touched by what a wonderful woman she was.

I just wanted to say how saddened I am about the news about June. Every time I saw her picture it made me smile. She looked alot like my own Mom and I thought of her every time she posted.

Leighanna wanted to know why I was so sad. I told her that a friend of mine had passed today. She said, "Is she with Jesus in Heaven?" I said yes. She is,and she is probably sitting on a bench with Goofy smiling down on us.

I have to say, I had the same thought about the bench and Goofy! Somehow, it just seems fitting. That's the way I will always remember June!

I hesitated contacting anyone until this evening but news like this doesn't come easy at any time. For me, the busier I am, the better. I get teary but know that I have to continue on with my day. June was much loved by all of us and she knew that. She was a gutsy, wonderful lady. She will be missed by many and will not be forgotten!! What more of a tribute can someone ask for! To June!!!!!

To June! You will truly be missed.

I do not know what to say. I am saddened by the loss of our dear friend.
I hope she has found peace & comfort in the Lord.

Even though I never met her (we were supossed to bump into her in Disney on 8/30) I am in tears at the thought of her passing. She was so cheery & I had to go back & read some of her previous posts just as a way to say goodbye.

Her family will be in my prayers.

that is so true at least she is in Heaven and not suffering any more.

I can't seem to stop crying. Every time I think i have topped someone else posts something for June and I start crying all over again.
