Ipods for tweeners...and those of us who can't afford the real things.

So we have knock-off crocs and now knock-off Ipods.

Typically they start on Monday, but because of the holiday, it's Tuesday this week. My favorite sale starts tomorrow too: 1/2 milk is 10 for $10.

My guess is that will be what will be on sale on Wednesday....since Kings is part of the Kroger family!!

I've gotten milestones on the old monster thread and may have gotten some here, but not in a looooong time. No big deal though as I love watching the reactions of others getting them.

yup. Disney has some of their cd's already on "sticks" so you can use them without downloading songs. They hold about 60 songs...which I think is a very reasonable amount of songs for the tween set.

We had a really wonderful weekend. I will post a trip report and try to get pictures if I can ever get my Kodak Easy Share working.

Well, Jonathan is back to college.....I felt bad again....guess we won't see him til Thanksgiving.

Did you guys hear about that Steve Irwin guy (crocodile hunter) what a bizarre & sad thing

Needless to say, DH and I were shocked. Steve Irwin really loved what he did and will be missed greatly. His family will be in my thoughts.

(My oldest son does the best imitation of him.)

My DD really burst my bubble yesterday, I told her I was excited because we only had 48 more days until our trip, that's when she informed me that I left out a month and it was actually 78. Of course I called her a brat!

Debbie isn't it less than that? I think I leave in about 63 days... won't see my ticker until I post! I know it's two months today will be our first day in the parks!


ETA: ooh look 59! Debbie it definitely can't be 78 days for you as that means you won't get there until 4 days after I get home!

How depressing is that?? In 74 days my trip will be over!

Ticker says 2 months and one week today, so we are down to 68 days. Life has been so chaotic that I hardly know what day it is. Now don't go getting depressed about your trip being over before it even starts.

Morning Elin! Not raining here but school buses have been passing my house like crazy...I forgot it's offically the first day of school for a lot of kids today! I'll have to leave for work a few minutes early to miss the Elementary school buses...

Here are some pics of Miyuki - I'd requested a swan. It was amazing to watch her!

Unfortunately, the picture of her and I together with the finished product didn't turn out well, but you get the idea. I would highly recommend catching her!

Your photos turned out much better than mine. Did you use flash? I was afraid the flash would bother her, and she moves around A LOT while working. I'll find mine and post them later. She is amazing, isn't she! I love when she makes things like bird wings.
