Vicki, Kristine, Kristin, Steffy, everybody with those Dec tickers....When is everyone going? Will any of you be there the 2nd week? Just thinking about what my alternative might be if we postpone the Feb trip to later in the year. We may do that in Sept/Oct next year which puts me in Kristin's theory of Dec this year and have my AP for Oct next.

We are there December 22-26

Ok I am back from AC Moore...Unfortunatly I didn't have a coupon & ended up paying $10 for the transfer paper (bought 3 packages!!! :bitelip: )

I got the kids matching shirts in light gray, light blue, red, & white.

They all like Kate's square designs so one of them (probably the white) will be for that...any suggestions on what would look nice on others? I am taking requests! :lmao:

I also like Kate's circle designs, each child could choose their favorite character.

Becky was running across the living room when she was 2 and knocked both her top front teeth out the week before Christmas. She didn't get them back until she was almost 7. My dad used to love teasing her about "All I want for Christmas are my two front teeth!". When she got them in, we had to teach her how to eat corn on the cob because she had no clue what to do!!!!! I felt bad when she knocked them out, but I hated to see them grow in because it meant that my baby was growing up.

I hope it turns out not to be one! :wizard:

OH SNAP!!!!

I am getting the lights in my eyes I get with migraines -

I get migraines once in a blue moon - like once a year - why am I getting one now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Denise

definately buy the cruise passporter - it has answered a lot of my questions!!!!!

One thing I have learned - is that there is not point in stressing about what your dining rotation is - you get what you get and if you aren't happy - you can choose another on board -

the most experienced cruisers say it doesn't matter which one you get - and the passporter has a formula that should tell you what your dining rotation will be

You will have so much fun & I know you will do great in the marathon! :cheer2:

Thanks for the confidence boost! I'm just hoping to finish without being swept! Actually, truth be told, I don't really care about that! Just being in WDW is a wish come true for me!

I'm thrilled that my SIL is coming with us! She loves DL and we go together sometimes when neither her husband nor mine want to go. Hopefully we can work out a similar arrangement with WDW.

Sorry to hear this Marci :grouphug: I have 2 indoor cats, but I do not have allergies. :wizard: that this all works out.

The news on Jessie is bittersweet. She seems to be stable and is sedated for pain. She only has one break, but it's in a very bad area so the word lame came up. At that point I think I panicked. They are letting her "chill", as they put it and rehydrating her, since she layed in the yard for a while before I heard her (and we had 105 heat index today). They are going to set it and splint it in the morning and see how she does. There isn't enough bone left by the break (part of it was shaved off) to pin it.

She will have to be an indoor cat for the next 6 - 8 weeks, if not for the rest of her life. I asked if she would ever be able to walk, and they said they hope she will. This is about to bring major changes to my family. I've never had an indoor cat, as I'm terribly allergic (and I think both boys are as well) and my DH and I both work full time out of the house, although I occasionally work from home. I guess I'm going to work from home for a few days, take my mom up on her offer to help, and possibly take Jessie to work with me.

Even though I know it was an accident, I'm having a hard time with it.

Thanks, everyone, for your good thoughts and prayers. It means a lot!

Hooray for Davis!!!!! Is the tooth fairy prepared?

Now, all the triplets have lost teeth, correct?

Yes, the tooth fairy has a $5 bill. Rees has lost 2, BK 4, and Davis 1. Davis' other bottom tooth is loose as well.

Congrats on booking. It is so exciting!!! :Pinkbounc If I ever do a half, it will be at Disney.

Beth

That's my main reason: it's at Disney. A year ago I would have laughed at you if you had even suggested me doing a half marathon! It just wasn't even in my vocabulary. It's amazing how much my attitudes have changed in the last year!

I've also signed up to do a 5K for Breast Cancer in October of this year. I figure it will be some good practice for a good cause.

Dawn -- although Kristin was born 20 years ago, I remember the doctor telling me after reading the ultrasound that they were going to induce labor the following Monday because the baby was already over 9 pounds and they didn't want to risk any further weight gain. She was born two days later and weighed 7 lbs. 3 oz.

They also told me that she was going to be a big child like our older daughter, and would probably be a large adult and for me not to worry myself over the weight. Well, guess what... they both wear a size 2 and they are normal healthy young ladies. One is 5'6" and the other is 5'4." I think sometimes what they think they see is not what is really the case. If you want a tall child, I hope you get one! :)

I second that! Every doctor, every "reliable" equation etc that you can do throughout childhood said I was sure to be at least 5'8". Some predicted almost 6'0", and these are printed all over as fairly certain predictors.

Well, at 5'2", I must be waiting for the latest growth spurt ever! :rotfl:

Thanks Elin.

I'll love her no matter what, I just hope she manages to grow a little taller than me. I have such a hard time finding pants to fit...and reaching things...Sometimes I have to stalk tall people in the grocery store to reach things for me :teeth:

I hear you on the size thing. My Dr, the nurses and the delivering Dr. all thought Christopher was going be 8-9 pounds. He ended up being 5lb 10 oz.
