On July 4th, DH hung up our wireless doorbell. That night is rang at 9:30, no one there. On Wed night it rang at 10:00 again no one there. I looked up and said dad stop ringing the doorbell, it has not rung since.

Since he hasn't been back since she said hi, he probably just wanted her attention so that she knew he was there! That's what happened with our light bulbs anyway. Once we started saying hi, it stopped.

I called the place where I got the fanny pack and they have about 10 of them. They fit Thomas and also are the size for the american girl doll.
Any other takers?
PM me if you want one

I will be going tomorrow, Sunday

OMG Mickey has a fanny pack... oh no and he wears tie dye... and crocs...

does that mean he is officially a DUFUS!!!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :teeth:

Yes and he is quite proud of it.

I leave you guys alone for 1 night & I have tons of pages to read to catch up!!!
Got to see Pirates last night..no spoilers here, just IMO it was not anywhere as good as the first. Not enough witty lines by Captain Jack for me. pirate:
The special effects were very good. There were some scenes reminiscient of the ride (I guess cross marketing) I noticed it but my girlfriend had no idea (she has never been to Disney :scared1: ) They did alittle preview of Expedition Everest before the movie, I was so excited..my friend had no idea what it was..I am so amazed by people who have no idea about Disney..seems foreign to me..anyway, go see the movie but don't expect the magic of the first.

I guess I am so obsessed by Disney (ya think?) My order of obsession is
#1 Disney World - Vacation & planning
#2 same as #1
#3 same as #2 :joker:

We went to the cheesecake factory after for dinner & didn't get home until 2am. :faint: My bedtime is usually 11 or so..I got up with the kids & now I am pooped but I had to come on & catch up because I was thinking about Amy last night.

Paula- That is good you had me freaking out that someone else you knew was going to die. This is because I had thought that she had known two people who had died but it was only the little girl. I have been seriously weirded out that you are going to post that someone else you knew has died. I am glad it hasn't come true yet and I hope it doesn't.
bengalbelle said:

Opps, I actually thought I had only sent that to Paula.

When the little girl Paula knew had died and also around the same time that Amazing Jacob had died. I thought that Paula had known two people who had died. I had posted a message on here that said something to the effect of and Paula sending :grouphug: and :wizard: to you, and family of the little girl who died, and also the family of the other person who had died.

The thing is she only knew one person who had died. She sent me a PM saying that she only knew one person who died and was hoping that I didn't know something she didn't know. Meaning I knew someone else she knew who had died.

So far it has only been that little girl. But it weirded me out because sometime I get strange sensations that things will happen and they do. Such as I had a feeling my pregnant friend was going to be in a car accident, within a week she was in an accident on a rainy night. She and baby were fine. Or the morning of 9-11-01 I looked at my watch and saw that it said 9-11, I thought it was an odd date and that something was going to happen. It was a little while later that day the first plane hit the World Trade Center, but I didn't find out that accurate information until almost noon.

Sorry for the confusion. I hope that all is well with you Dawn.

No, you can't hold them back forever! As much as I would have liked to with my girls. If you don't let them go a little at a time, they will eventually break away and won't be ready! I know because I lived it! I was so unprepared for the outside world, it is scary to think about even 25 years later. I could have gotten in so much trouble.

I swore I would not let my kids be so unprepared for the world outside. They saw movies and shows on tv much sooner than some of my friends (and much later than others). However, when I thought they were ready, they watched them with me so that I could explain my feelings on the behavior, etc.

I know that is way past rollerblades! Sorry. Katrina is having a rough time right now and I'm feeling like I want to just protect her from the world but I know that I can't. It hurts to watch her suffering and not just resolve the issue for her when I could. However, she wouldn't be ready for the next issue and it could be a much worse issue and I might not be there to help her through that one.

I'm sorry that you are having some tough times with Katrina. Is there anything I can do to help?

Kate,
You should see POC 1, its a fun movie..not for your kids age however. I let Katie see it on video (she was 9 at the time) & she totally got that they were acting. However I would not let her see POC dead mans chest. Too many violent scenes & or just too creepy. I think it's a bit too much for anyone under 10..JMHO.
I have to agree with everyone who already posted about Nick. Don't worry yourself into a state (I know, easier said than done). You are a good Mommy taking him to the Dr's & he is lucky to have you. You will know more Monday. I know the Dr's sometimes call you in no matter what, so please don't let that scare you. Please keep us posted & know you are in our thoughts..I think all this pixie dust & prayers we send each other really does help. Also hope your knee is feeling better.
I like your idea of being surprised with a limo & a trip to DL or WDW. I'd be ready! But I would spend that 12 hours here looking up last minute stuff!

Congrats to Amy,Kevin, and Alyssa! Happy Birthday, Matthew, and welcome to the world!!!!!!!!!!

Goodness no!!!!

He might just commit us all!!! But we could all hang out together and as long as part of our therapy includes going to Disney world WITHOUT any planning :faint: that would be okay!!

Seriously - could you all imagine if someone said to you today - we are leaving at 10:00 tomorrow morning for WDW - a limo will pick you up outside your home - how seriously panicked would you spend the next 12 hours?!?!!?!?

I think that those of you that have been to WDW numerous times would be ok. However, I think us newbies would have a tough time. I'd definitely do it, though! No question about that.
