I guess I always had this image of a quiet little girl who sat and played with Barbies and never yelled or ran around and broke their bones. Than again I( could just be imagining things as I don't have a girl. :rolleyes1

Well the sitting around and playing Barbie is pretty close. The not yelling or running around is far from reality. Mine also never had any broken bones but they did get their share of scratches and bruises.

Wow you guys are brave. Not sure I could ever get his and my side of the family together for a vacation. :guilty:

I wouldn't get just one side of our family together for a WDW trip. I'm not ruining it by doing something silly like that!

Vicki
Will WDW still have Pal Mickey in September?
We arrive 9/23.
Ramiro got a kick out of him last year.
We ran into some Dis-board members who had 1.
He had to know all about it.
How it worked what it did.
So how much are they anyway?

I think they are the same size.. They appear to be the same size as the plush that are on sale at the Disney Store right now 2 for $20.00!!!!!!!!

.. the BAB tag on mine said $28.99 :confused3

Maybe the $25.00 is the BAB at DL price???? :confused3

They are $28.99 if you buy just Minnie or Mickey. They are $50 if you buy the set of Minnie and Mickey.

Hi Everyone! I'm back. AND I'm all caught up. Thanks for keeping it down to 58 pages in four days. Our trip was really relaxing. It was a nice campground (KOA). One of the owners is a retired fireman, and he had a fire engine there that he gave rides around the campground on. The kids love it (big ones, too). I was :rotfl: , though, when I asked him where he got the fire engine - E-bay! I know you can buy most anything on e-bay, but a fire engine? :lmao: :grouphug: and pixiedust: to all. I'm not even going to try to respond individually to 58 pages of posts!
Welcome back June. :teeth:

I hope everyone's day went well and that all the fireworks displays went on as scheduled. We were able to picnic and swim until about 6 when we were chased indoors due to storms. It rained off and on until about 8 and then we all (4 families) decided that instead of going to the city's fireworks, we would set off all of our own here on our street. There is something to be said for sitting in your driveway, with close friends, in your own neighborhood without fighting the traffic, and enjoying a holiday. The kids all had a great time and just now fell fast asleep. I'm about to upload some photos so if I have any good ones I'll post them.

I'm going to go back and catch up, but just wanted to let you all know there is a HUGE sale at disneyshopping.com HUGE 70% off some things. Plus if you spend $50 you get back $25 and if you spend $100 you get back $50 also mousesavers has a discount code for another 10% off. July 4th only... so you only have a few more minutes. I just caught up on my email and saw this and ordered some stuff...

on topic....tshirts $5.99 :) :) :) :)

Thanks for all the warm Welcome Backs,

Like I said there were a few Cons to the trip, we had rain everyday but one with some really bad lightning a few days, I took this photo after one afternoon storm. It just goes to show that Happiness really is at the
end of the rainbow!!!

Good Morning DDA,

Happy 4th to all!!

We're back! We had a Great Time visiting the Mouse in his House, there were a few Cons, but mostly Pros. This was the second time we were at WDW when someone died, the first was in the 90's when a worker fell off the Skyway and this time was the boy on RNR, I can't imagine the pain his family is going through. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

I'm not a good trip reporter but I'll share some photo's later, as you can see I've updated my signature with the official DDA, WDW photo. I hesitated to do it as I hate pictures of my big behind, but what the heck, here goes nothing. I've got tons of pictures to sort through, thanks to info here on the DDA I went Photopass Crazy and purchased the CD so I have all of those to play with also.

Here's one of my all time favorites of my DGS, his favorite character was Stitch, (guess that's because they have so much in common) and he feel asleep with his Stitch hands on.

Have a great holiday everyone,

Debbie

:welcome: home June! Mrs. Heg (Debbie) has her signature updated with Goofy like yours. The trend has started!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

So glad you had a relaxing time. I love the ROA campgrounds... haven't been camping since the kids were young, but it was fun then.... popcorn::

Wow, for what was supposed to be a do nothing day turned into the complete opposite. We ended up having a cookout for Eric's side of the family so we spent all morning cleaning and getting the food ready. Our house has been a wreck since we returned from vacation. Eric's sister and BIL stopped by to drop off our nephew, Alex, as they head to Virginia for a few days. They have some things to do before they are transferred to England at the end of the month. It cannot come soon enough as the 2 hours they were here my patience wore quite thin.

After the all the inlaws left, they took Emma with them, Mo and I watched a movie to unwind and then she went to bed. Eric picked Emma and Alex up around 8 as one of our neighbors had a bunch of fireworks to set off. We had a great time with the families on our street. It was so cool as we had fireworks going off in about 6 different locations around us.

I updated Pal Mickey's thread with some pictures from our travels and am working on a mini trip report.

With that I am headed to bed. See you all in the morning!

Happy 4th of July

We had a really busy day today. Every 4th of July our little town has an Old Home Days parade and festival. I cannot tell you how many people come out for this. The cub scouts march in the parade. Nick got to carry the American Flag and Hunter marched with the rest of the Scouts. We decorated Colby's little battery powered motorcycle and a small wagon/trailer and he rode that in the parade right behind the scouts. It was a lot of fun and there were 100s of people watching. After the parade and spending a little time at the festival we came home and all of us except Nick took a little nap. Once awake we packed up the car and headed for my Great Aunt's camp on a little pond about 45 minutes from here. We had dinner and the kids got to do a little boating and swimming. We left there just in time to make the fireworks in my hometown. The look on Colby's face during the show was priceless. The older boys liked them too and we all talked about Disney. Now everyone is sleeping except me as I just had to check in here. I took some pictures of the parade and the kids at the pond. I'll try to post them tomorrow (actually later today...Oy). I'm glad everyone seemed to have a nice 4th although it sounds like weather was an issue for some. The weather forecast here was for rain, but they were wrong and we actually had a lovely day.

I'm sure they will continue to have Pal Mickey for awhile. The technology they set up to have him work around the parks is there. He is around $65.
