in a panic running like crazy, packing, prepping and stressing to get out the door OR are you bored and relaxed watching the clock hoping time passes quickly?

Not stressing, we...

* Last minute packing
* Simple dinner with easy clean up (normally tacos since we don't have them while in WDW)
* Light housework (don't like coming home to messy house)
* Watch a Disney Movie
* Try to get some sleep (normally we can't sleep because we are so excited)

The day before we are done packing and more than ready to go!

Definitely not bored! I wake up early that day because its Disney Eve!!! Get together last minute packing, run errands, make sure I have everything I need and make sure we aren't forgetting anything. Nighttime comes quick and then I can't sleep because I'm too excited.

Tomorrow is Disney Eve, for me - and I'm pretty relaxed. Have most of the packing done - all I have to do tomorrow is gas up the car and charge my phone! :)

Disney Eve is always crazy busy for us because I take care of my elderly mom so I'm usually busy preparing meals for her to have and getting last minute things she might need so my brother or sister don't have to do it.

We're also usually doing laundry and double and triple checking "Do we have everything?!". We preload the car with Disney CDs and try to watch a Disney movie if we have time. This last time before the 24 Hour party we watched 'Meet The Robinsons' so it was extra awesome when we got to meet Bowler Hat Guy the next night! :thumbsup2

We schedule our Disney Eve to fall on a Monday (Taking the sting out of the worst day of the week) which allows it to be very serene. Sunday however is pure chaos, house cleaning top to bottom (when you get home you want no housework, just the opportunity to decompress and reminisce about your vacation) final packing and loading the car except for toiletries, inevitably we realize we need to run to the store because we forgot something, all the good stuff.

Doing it all on Sunday however means that Disney Eve Monday is all about get home from work/school, print out boarding passes, charge devices, order a pizza and watch a Disney movie. Thinking an initial viewing of Peter Pan for my DS this year.

Hey, it's 'Disney Eve' for us too! You should keep an eye out for us. At least one of us will be wearing a brimless round hat, with two matching black circles standing up on their edge on either side of the head. Should be easy to spot with such unique headgear.

We are the stressed out group. No one ever packs ahead EVER. Even when I ask nicely. I am usually packing at 1am with our pick up being usually 4 or 5am.

I love the idea of watching a disney movie the night before. I try and pack during the day, because I would forget to pack things if I waited until the sun went down. I am always too excited to sleep well and find myself waking up every hour or so to check the time so I don't oversleep

Not much stress. The last day is last minute laundry and packing, usually I work, and DH gets the van packed. We drive, so no worries on running late. DH picks me up from work/boys from school unless it is summer, and off we go!

We are always packed and ready to way before the day before so for me it is the longest day ever.

stressed...SO STRESSED. It is very tricky to go away. We own a farm and it takes a lot of prep and orchestration to make sure everything will be taken care of while we're gone.

We usually stay at a airport hotel because we normally have a 6 am flight. We order pizza then try to get to bed early. Everyone else sleeps and I toss all night, followed by me waking up entirely to early.

Usually not a big deal. I keep all our Disney musthaves in a bag so I don't really have to think much about packing.

I will be at a Tim McGraw concert on Disney Eve! Then we have to leave our house at 3:30 am for our flight! I am *hoping* to have mostly everything ready the Eve of Disney Eve!

I'm notorious for planning and packing WAY WAY WAY too early... lol... I'll be lucky if I can wait till a few weeks before we leave to pack our bags :rotfl::rotfl:

The anticipation kills me! The day before we leave? We'll be packed, booked, checked and double checked... and I'll be pulling my hair out in anticipation... lmao... Ive been ready for months, let's go!!!

this is us too!!!!

Dh jokes I've done the Disney trips so many times I can pack/ prep in my sleep.

It's typically a busy day for us. I'm always so worried I'm going to forget something important so I will make tons of lists and before I place it into bags I will double check everything.

Packing for a baby takes even more time so I will work on her stuff about a week before. Clothes won't go into bags until Sunday night (our Disney Eve -- 9/7).

No stressing here. Packing, except for last minute items which are kept right next to suitcases is usually finished 1-2 days in advance, boarding passes printed and put in carry-on, double check lights on times, dogs to boarding or my kids mid-day the day before, easy dinner/clean up. Bo change in nighttime routine except for setting extra alarms to make sure we are up, moving and ready to get out the door.

My husband: usually 99% packed, 4-7 days prior to trip, complete with spare outfit(s) choice first aid items, ponchos, change for tips, travel toiletries, snack, etc. All he needs is charging cords and boarding passes and he's out the door.

Me, day before departure: Suitcase propped open where Husband left it 4-7 days prior. One pair of pants tossed inside along with whatever stray items were left behind last trip and a half bag if cough drops. I'm usually wearing clothing that I still need to wash and pack and the rest is either in a hamper or a closet.

Disney Eve spent with me packing and DH double checking his packing. Again.

I love it though. If Monty Hall was on the plane and said he wanted to make a deal and would offer $20/item for a paper clip, some tape, a safety pin, folding scissors, a penny, a rolaid or a bandaid, a sham-wow, etc. we could finance the entire trip.
