I'd LOVE to do a character breakfast! That's funny...I think we all forget to mention that other things would be cheaper...We try to get people to see that, hey, it COULD be more!!

Ok, so I was looking at the dates and Extra Magic Hours. We usually try to hit every evening EMH, so here's where we'll probably be:

September 7th- Magic Kingdom Evening Extra Magic Hour
September 5th & 12th- Epcot Evening Extra Magic Hour
September 8th- MGM Evening Extra Magic Hour
September 10th- Animal Kingdom Evening Extra Magic Hour

I wish we got two MK EMHs instead of two Epcots. Also, we're probably doing Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on the 9th. More on that later.


Question for everyone...I wanted to do a small report on our Panama City Beach trip, but I don't want to get in trouble for breaking forum rules. Do y'all think I should put it in the Community Board or just not do one at all? If I put it somewhere else, I just want to make sure y'all are going to be there!

Are you definitely having a few days by yourself at the beginning of your holiday now? Hope you do and get to spend some time just the two of you without the parents there like you wanted.

Now since you love counter service meals, and we don't have that much experience with them (being TS fans), which ones would you say are best as we are hoping to fit a few in this time?

As of right now, I don't know if Darren's parents are going at all. I'll keep everyone updated on that.

We pretty much eat at all of the places that sell basically the same things. Hamburgers and chicken strips..I think they're all good. We also really like the selections in the food courts. So you can go to the resorts and eat at the food courts if you want. We usually go to the Polynesian for Capt. Cooks so Darren can get his Tonga Toast!

Cosmic Rays in the MK is good. Rainforest Cafe is good (love the atmosphere!) even though it's not CS...You don't have to have an ADR there, so that's why we eat there alot. You can look up some reviews online for restaurants, that should give you a pretty good idea as well.

I've never been to Universal, I never wanted to part with my Disney time. I do want to go though...Are you going to put us in your bag on that day too?

Yes we have eaten in both Rainforest Cafes at WDW as well as one in London and one at Disneyland Paris. It is such great fun in there, and the food is good too. We have been to Cosmic Rays twice and really liked the toppings bar and the ABC Commissary at MGM and then food courts at POR, POFQ, AKL and ASM - all were good but we still prefer table service. We did think about doing the dining plan but thought we would end up wasting to many CS credits as nearly everywhere we wanted to eat was TS.

Oh so Darrens parents may not be going - that could be good couldn't it . Hope you get the result you want there.
