Don't do that lol. He will think I'm some kind of weirdo probably. He probably only knows me as "Joe's sister" anyway :lmao:

Hi, my name is Amy and my fiances name is Steve. We are going to be in the world from august 9th to the 17th for our HONEYMOON. I am so excited. I just got done reading your trip report and am looking forward to your next. After reading I feel like I know you and I amkind of sad that we will miss each other by only a month...lol. I hope you guys have afantastic time.

:disrocks: :welcome:
Welcome to the boards! When's your wedding?! Congrats in advance!
:groom: :bride:

Wow, it's quiet over here. What's everybody doing for Memorial Day? I think we're going swimming if we don't freeze. The city pool isn't heated and it's still in the 40's here at night! But it's supposed to be 82 on Monday.

Hey Heather, long time no speak. I have missed reading your trip report and chatting to you  , but I'm back now and I aint going nowhere (well apart from NY) :thumbsup2. I have tried to catch up on as much as possible but cant remember where I left off :sad2:. Firstly HAPPY ANNIVERSARY party: I know its a bit late but I did think about you when I was in waiting for Fantasmic in MGM and told Nick it was your anniversary (I have to refer to you as 'the one with the mustang' so he knows who I'm talking about :lmao:). I love the lilies Darren got you, I love lilies, pink the most, and the roses were beautiful too. What did you guys do on the day, you might have said but I'm not all there, still jet-lagged.

I have started reading your Panama City report, great so far, cant wait for more.

Any news or gossip I have missed whilst I have been away :confused3

It is quiet! I'm sorry. Just don't have any Disney updates :sad2:
We're BBQing on Sunday for Memorial Day. I hope it doesn't rain! I looooove me some BBQ!!! :woohoo:
I hope you're able to swim! My mom's pool isn't ready to swim in, the filter was broken for awhile. I wish we could swim, it's DEFINITELY hot enough here. It was 95 yesterday.

SO glad you're back, girl!!!!!!!!!! I've missed you too, I've been waiting and waiting! I can't WAIT to read your report!!
Thanks for thinking of me, that's so sweet
We didn't do much on our anniversary. Darren brought home Applebee's and we "ate" (tasted and gagged on) our wedding cake, and we went to my parents' house. Really romantic huh? :lmao:

No news that I can think of. My favorite, David Cook, won American Idol last night, so I'm happy about that!!

Thanks so much, and looking forward to your report! :thumbsup2

Sounds like you had a lovely anniversary, apart from the disgusting wedding cake .

I dont watch American Idol but my Mum and Sophie are obsessed. She always tells me I have to watch it but never get the time. I even missed last seasons X Factor over here which I was really gutted about, I followed the one before religiously, we even took Sophie to see the tour in Cardiff which was good. I have missed some good TV since I have been gone - I missed the finals of ANTM and SYTYCD and the beginning of Britains Next Top Model :sad2:. Oh and Nick and I always watch Criminal Minds and then CSI on a Friday night after work which we have missed a few of, I don't know whats happened the past few weeks, even more confusing since I have seen adverts for further episodes whilst in Orlando. And then Nick had to work tonight so I had to watch them alone... well with Scamp and Tigger :sad1:. Suppose its back to the normal world now... at least I have your trippies to keep me sane :lmao:

We're back from Disney! Goodness it was so hard to come back.

I bet it was!! Did you have a great time??

Sorry you missed your shows! But I'd rather miss TV if it meant I could be in Disney!

:rotfl: Thank You! I'm dumb and I just clicked on here, wondering where our conversation went about little UPS shorts!! :lmao: It took me a minute to realize this was my Pre-TR. I thought I was losing my mind.
Thanks for bumping me up!

Wow thank you so much!!! :wave2: Hi to your daughter! Let me tell you, I WAS boy crazy, like you wouldn't believe. But I found the right one the first time around, and trust me, we waited a LONG time before getting married (7 years!). It doesn't matter if you're boy crazy or not, when you find the right guy, you'll know. Plus, if you find one that loves Disney, that's even better! :thumbsup2

Thanks so much for reading and I'm glad you're here! :goodvibes

Ok, here's the thing. We started thinking, September really isn't that far away, and we have NO extra money to spend on a vacation. I threw some ideas around, and e-mailed my TA to discuss some things. Alot has changed. Here's the deal:

The old plans

September 5-13th, Caribbean Beach Resort with 40% room discount. WITHOUT park tickets. Total = $804.64. Great rate for a moderate. Well, we'd have to pay for food and stuff when we got there, so we were looking at close to $2,000 at LEAST.

The (possible) new plans

Magic Your Way with FREE Dining at Disney's Pop Century Resort, standard view, with a 9 day park hopper = $1,314.42.
That's total price, tax included. So I just called Darren and I think we're going to do it! We won't have to pay for food, which will help ALOT. I hate wasting the 40% discount, but I'm happy to try free dining because we've never done it.
Also, we'd only need 8 day park hopper tickets, so it will be a few dollars cheaper. I'm about to go crack open our piggy bank to see how much money we have saved so far. I'll check back in and tell you!!

well, I admit I'm actually pretty excited for you!! You are going to LOVE the free dining! I know you aren't a huge eater, but the luxury of not worrying about anything is great. And since it's regular (and not deluxe) dining, us lighter eaters (as opposed to our husbands who devour everything in sight, am I right ::yes:: ) can stretch the credits out. Actually, Mike and I even split some counter service meals last year (since you only get 2 full meals a day on the plan) and it worked out great for us. Using 1 counter service credit + 1 snack credit, and splitting that seemed to work out for us sometimes. And other times we were starving and each got a full counter service meal. Snack credits are well used at breakfast if you're not a huge morning eater, but some days it's nice to save those credits and eat a heartier breakfast. (Splitting a counter service one day will come in especially handy if you do a sit down breakfast at any point in the trip)

If you need any free dining tips, feel free to ask me! (I'm sure others can give you plenty of tips too, but I just want you to know I am here for ya!)

Hope everything works out the way you want it. I still wish you were going on your original dates (same week as me)....but I'm just glad you are still going at all! (I was nervous for you!)

Any luck on the job search? I have been asking around but no word, sorry.
