Mornin' everyone!!! So what is on your agenda today?? I did quite a bit yesterday and last night...

So today's list is short and sweet:

supervise DS10 putting away his laundry
scrapbook
3:10 leave for appt @ portrait studio to approve PJ's senior yearbook photo
HL for paper for graduation gifts (sale & if they have the paper I want)

DS15 to soccer conditioning
dinner
DS15 home to eat and clean his room (will supervise as we will be going through clothes for donation)

That's it for today!! Hope everyone has a great day!!!! I need to get back to scrapping... I've taken a few days off.. kitted pages but no pages completed.. :(

Good morning :)

My day is simple--Sarah and I are going on her first college campus visit. We're taking a tour and meeting with the head of the english department. Her plan is to be a high school english teacher with an emphasis in music. So quite likely a double major.

Have a great day :)

Just a quick check-in. After a 12 hr power outage, and really bad storms last night - I am off to visit LindaBabe for a few days.
Hope you all have a great day. :thumbsup2

Yay for easy summer days!

Nan, good luck picking out the perfect Senior photo!

Cheryl, have fun on the tour!

Caroline, sorry about the power outage....safe travels to LindaBabe's, you two behave yourselves!

easy day here again too!
:surfweb:
try to put NY TR up - uploading photos to photobucket right now
make Cindy/PC PP for MAW album....rest is waiting for paper order
make a few cards
go do some school shopping today - Old Navy
lunch out somewhere
school supplies and grocery shopping - sale at our grocery store on supplies!

might work on my WDW album this afternoon or start Sketch swap!

dinner - chicken

hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Safe travels!

Finished some laundry and vacuuming, the vacuum will be run again at least 3 times with this lovely dog hair shedding.
Get back to the hair dresser, part of the new color washed out after two days and it looks completely silly. Surely they don't want me to walk around like this and tell everyone who did it.
Grocery shop.
Clean up scrap room so I can start making pages.

I took boys to Day Hab already

cutting out front of kidcot book
then get that all glued together
work on embellies for Asia part of AK ablum

wash boys sheets & stuff while they aren't home (thinking of taking down the curtains & doing them too)

figure out what to take for girls weekend since that is friday

I have to pick up boys about 2 so I can't forget them:confused3

Thanks Lisa...

These are just for the yearbook... They are black drapes on the girls.. more like sorority photos so all the girls are dressed a like...

I had her photos done by some of my mom's friends.. We already got them back..and we have 795 photos to pick from.. I own them all on a CD... I was amazed at the photos they took!! WE had a hard time picking from them!!!

I really should get started on the day but I have been searching songs for PJ's senior lyric book..
Found another great one today!!! I didn't realize Reba sung it.. "You're Gonna Be".. FABULOUS song!!!!

This book is not going to be a little book.. It's gonna be a NOVEL!! Glad I'm starting this in August.. do 10 pages a month and hopefully I'll be done by graduation!

Good Morning!

Well our children didn't seem to be affected by the incident on Monmday night and not one parent asked about anything. Since the ambulance was at the church when they arrived to pick up there children on Monday they all knew that none of the children had a problem but since I knew nothing about what happened at the time I couldn't tell them anything more than that.

Today:
VBS stuff
rest- I had trouble sleeping last night
laundry

Rebecca

It's Wednesday, right? I'm all thrown off for some reason.

Let's see, I'm working. Going to the mall tonight to see if Justice still has the "camp" card game they had the last time I was there. I sent my family an email reminding them to send notes/cards/care packages to Morgan this week for receipt next week at camp. I hope they follow-through!

Hope everyone is having a great day and staying cool!

Well, I think Sarah may have found her number 1 choice for college! We had a fantastic time and everyone was really nice & knowledgeable. Because of her high grades and test scores we know she is guaranteed at least a $2000 scholarship per year, and it's close to home (only a little over an hour away).

We're going to visit another school in 2 weeks just to compare.

thanks great news Cheryl....will she be able to live at home? or does she want the campus life?
Bonus getting the $$ that will definately help!

She'll be living on campus (it's a requirement for all freshman). I'm sure she's eligable for other scholarships, she just hasn't been too interested in looking yet :confused3 After today's tour she's very excited :)

well at least she will be close by for her momma! I'm sure there are a lot of different scholarships out there! good luck finding them!

Cheryl, congratulations on finding a college for Sarah!

I spent about 2 hours today with Josh online filling out forms....since everything is online it is easier but he was on his netbook and the screen is small. Not so good for mom, but he can navigate around on it fine. Bought his books for his classes and had them shipped here, not sure why, but that is what he wanted so that's what we did. Now I have to make sure he packs them to take with him. Orientation is August 26th. In less than a month he will be gone, it's starting to sink in that he is all grown up.:sad2:

Off to make dinner and work on MDD mini kit. I just hope it comes out like I picture in my head!

college?? my oldest isn't even old enough to drive yet (ok he will be 16 on 8/8)
good luck with picking a college that they will go to

I got my Asia Embellies cut & glued
got Kidcot book cover done & inside pages glued together

got boys room stuff washed, dried & put back in place (also got boys picked up on time)

I don't remember what else I was going to do today

all of our kiddo's are growing up way to fast....Megan starts middle school in 6 weeks :scared1:

got to Old Navy today, found jeans she liked and fit good! a couple t-shirts and pair of leggings....had lunch and then home, Megan wasn't feeling too good, so will get other shopping done tomorrow!

did get my cards finished up - 12 today and sorted through all my 2" letter groups to start scrapping those soon...will make my Cindy/PC PP tonight after dinner!

That is good news Cheryl!!!! I'm glad she likes the school you visited. It's good to compare.. The girls did a tour a few weeks ago together for a local college.. all agreed that their first visits were the schools they preferred!

We are anxiously awaiting the first round of acceptance letters... should be in the next 2weeks... .

Make sure you get on FAFSA and start DD pre-filling out the forms.. it will give you a PIN code that is your password to get back in and update your info before submitting it... then once you submit your taxes and have all that updated in the FAFSA site you can submit that paperwork for additional monies...
Try fastweb.com for scholarships... zinch.com.... those are good ones.. collegeboard.com has some great info too....

If I think of anything else I will pass it along... Are you starting buying some dorm items now?? we have started buying stuff and putting it in a tote.. We have 2 sets of towel sets already... plus dish towels/cloths... and some other things.... a little at a time so we don't have that big sticker shock buying it all at once!

Thanks :) She's quite excited (as am I ;)). I can not imagine what I'll be feeling like a year from now with 1 leaving for college and the other entering her senior year of high school:scared1: Where did the time go?

Thanks for the websites :) I'm working on pulling forms & numbers for FAFSA right now. Yes, I'm buying dorm stuff already too, hoping to lessen the cost at least a little by spreading it out :thumbsup2
