Good Morning!

Been busy already, unpacked, sorted mail, and laundry is spinning. Julia at school for MCAS tutoring, need to pick her up at 10.

still need to:
finish laundry
upload pictures and make a copy for my sister
meet up with friends later this afternoon
dinner? no idea what is here and shopping is not on the list for today!

rainy day here- finally!! straightening out my newly painted (thanks to my dd Lauren) bedroom. It's a perfect day for it.
Remembering my wonderful father who passed away 18 yrs ago today.

Hope everyone has a great day and accomplishes their chore lists.

I am going to do a little housework. The temperature is supposed to be in the triple digits, so we going to hide out indoors. Plus, my DH's car is broken down so he is taking my van for the day so we are trapped at home. Plus, I look like a lobster from our swimming afternoon yesterday. Plus, we have no extra activities on the calendar today which rarely happens!! I am hoping to use this time at home to scrap, because I haven't had time to do that in a while. Fingers crossed.

we had rain hard last night....and a little surprise in the clouds ...a perfectly shaped heart cut out! a little something from my Jim , Megan saw it and as soon as I looked a second later the wind blew it away.

Hi everyone!

I hope you are all doing well, happy belated birthday to those I missed, pixie dust and good thoughts for all of you.

We're doing well. Morgan is growing like a weed, had her 12th birthday 2 weeks ago. We had a pool party at my sister's and went to play glow mini golf afterward. It was fun. She decided she needed a Hunger Games theme, so we made bottle cap necklaces and zipper pulls, along with page pebble magnets and put a mockingjay on a tumbler. I think everyone was happy with the goodies.

Here's our party favors:

I booked a November 2013 trip the other day. We'll be going to see Catching Fire at the midnight showing the day we get there

She's at 'acting' camp this week. They are doing Aladdin again. She thinks she's going to go out for Abu this time

So.funny, I wanted to do the cups as goodies bags for DD#1s 12 bday. But at the last min we had like 5 more kids rsvp! So they got bags.

I should be unpacking but i really don't feel like it. I'm sitting on the couch cuddling with kiddos. Need some motivation!

On a note, I just tried to upload all the pics from my camara and lost half of them. Thankfully my dad uploaded them to his computer before we left, now I just have to send him a memory stick and he will send them to me.

Oh thank goodness you have a "backup" Cassey! How horrible.

If I could request a few prayers and pixie dust...you all may remember my niece. She had a brain tumor in 2007 and did the surgery, chemo, radiation etc., got a clean bill of health, had her two babies in January 2010 and November 2011...She had a questionable scan in May. In June, they re-scanned and it looked okay, they thought it was a blood vessel that had burst near the site of her tumor. She had another scan last week and it doesn't look good. She's starting chemo again this week. So, any and all good thoughts, prayers and pixie dust you can send my way would be greatly appreciated. She has to fight it and win, there's just no way her babies can grow up without their mother...

Oh Jen for you all. I'm so sorry to hear this. I will add her to my prayers.

Needless to say that stopped my whinning for the day. It remeinded me that there are people far worse off than the petty bull that I am dealing with.

That it does. I'm always on the other end of the phone if you need to talk (well unless I end up in jail for beating up a selectperson or 2) sending you hugs and prayers in the upcoming weeks
