Clean bathroom (they finished fixing it and it is now covered in a fine dust)

With mixed emotions, this is my last day of teaching! So many have told me that retirement opens an entire new world! I look forward to it!!

Well, DS's car won't be fixed until late tomorrow. They have to order the part from Atlanta and it's going to cost lots of $$. Not happy about it, but it is what it is.

DS and I have an exciting day today, tomorrow and Thursday. We've got orientation at FSU!!!! He'll be staying in the dorms for the next 2 nights. The orientation program doesn't actually start until tonight, but with all his AP classes he's had, it was requested that he come to an extra session that starts this afternoon. On Thursday, he'll have his class schedule for fall!!! My part will be the hard part since FSU is the rival for my school, UF, and they keep saying how they'll be teaching us the Seminole chop and other school spirit things. I cannot do that, no way! I told DS that I'll do the Gator Chomp instead and I'll wear a Gator shirt and he just glares at me!! I guess I'll just sit on my hands during that part of the program!

Anyway, here's my list for today:
Find AP exam scores for up through last year - haven't received this year's yet
Go to work and print out class schedules and get them on calendar and in the book
Make sure DS has all the things he needs for his dorm time - clothes, bed linens, etc.
Lunch out with DS
Check on score of UF game in the college world series - the game got postponed last night due to tornado warnings and other bad weather. They were winning too!
Head to FSU for our first session
Check-in at dorm
Go to dessert reception and start of the real orientation
Leave DS at FSU

Caroline, I can only imagine what you are feeling you will have lots of time to spend with your family, scrap and hang out with us and your wonderful cruise is only a couple of months away!

Stephanie, boo on the car problems! yay on DS going to FSU! too funny that you and him will be "rivals", behave yourself while on campus

I will have a few photos of Megan's graduation up in a bit! it was a bit hard for me, few tears...

throw sleeping bags in dryer to freshen them up before putting away
I only have 4 days of quite daytime left, so hope to scap a lot this week!

Caroline--I know what you're going through today. . .as Lisa said, know that we're all with you in spirit!!
Stephanie--how funny about FSU & UF! Being from TN, we don't do the Gator Chomp. . .EVER! Our band director at the HS where I worked tried to teach the band the "GOOOO Gators" song. I told the cheerleaders that we'd just have to stand there! Good luck to your DS today!!
Lisa--can't wait to see the pics!!

Last day of school here. It's an early release day, so I'm picking up Morgan and one of her friends from the friend's house (after they walk there), and we're going to Friendly's for lunch. Savannah's mom is going to meet us at the salon for pedis, after she drops off her younger daughter at a pool party.

Then we have our final party for Girl Scouts at the bowling alley this afternoon.

I can't believe it's finally here!

Good morning ladies!!! Hope everyone has a great day and all is well.

Another drive by for me cable guy is scheduled to be here between 10-2 but then I have to wait for dbf to come home and get everything working.

So today:
Take dd to school. Last full day!
unpacking amd organizing
find things we need, my sister unpacked my kitchen last night, while watching girls.
Store run. Bigger house=extras of things
relax if possible
finisj lists for property management company, more damaged stuff outlets not working etc.

Hey Lisa - you are probably correct, but by then it is time to cruise which will make it much easier!!! However, when we get back, and my money supply needs replenishing, I will go back and sub!!!
