try to clean 1 pile from top of cabinet before I have to pick up boys
run L to swim and E to ball trying to figure out the 1 and a half time lapse is it worth driving home?
dinner in there somewhere
tackle one more pile maybe?
bed since I'm up at 11 pm I'll be wiped out after the day.

Good morning! It's Thursday!! 21 more working days (counting today) until Summer Vacation. . .and my ticker is under a month now! Woohoooo!

Things here are a little up in the air right now. My brother & SIL are pregnant for the third time (the first two were miscarriages). She is 24 weeks along today, and my little niece (we already know it's a girl) has decided that now might be the time to make her appearance. SIL has had LOTS of pregnancy issues, and her water broke yesterday. She is at the hospital (they transferred her to one with a NICU), and we are waiting on news. PLEASE keep them in your prayers!!

Here's my list for today:

1. Up
2. Caffeinate
3. Pack my lunch (DH is staying home with DS)
4. Make grocery list
5. Work
6. Come home
7. Go to hospital OR:
8. Laundry
9. Dinner--grilled chicken or taco salad10. Work on AK swap
11. Walk with DS
12. Wipe down bathrooms
13. Go to sleep sort of early!

Short list today since everything's kind of on hold. I hope everyone has a terrific Thursday!!

Thanks, y'all. Just talked to my brother, and the contractions lessed overnight (which is good). I don't know what they'll do about the fact that her water has already broken. The dr told her the baby didn't need it now (was far enough along), but they have my SIL on strong antibiotics to fight any infection that might come from that being gone. She has also been on medication to stop the contractions (the strongest one they could give her). That medicine makes her feel like she has the flu, so she is in pain and completely icky all the way around. She is definitely the strongest woman I know right now, and my niece-to-be is the strongest baby! She's just kept going no matter what!!

First, SIOH - good thoughts and energy to you and your family. Hope everyone makes it through this scary situation just fine!

It seems we may now be dealing with diabetes. This is a bolt out of the blue, on top of *all* the other medical issues we face. No family history of it, DH eats (much) better than I do and ditto with the exercise. We're a bit in the dumps, but will do research and work with his great medical team to suck it up and do what needs to be done. So, no immediate crisis, but a stunner, nonetheless...

I agree with Ann. It is a life change. But they know a lot about it now. Positive thoughts for the pbf family. I have a little experience with this. Mom was a diabetic. If I can help in any way let me know. Hugs to all of you.

Pam ~ so sorry to hear about DH's diagnosis. Yes, that is a stunner. I only had gestestional diabetis but nothing since...but it was a stunner to say the less.

Pam - it's a tough diagnosis - first you cry. Then you get mad. eventually, you deal with it. Let me know how I can help. Its been 1 year + for me and I have good control.

Thoughts are with the Pinball Family today and Family of SIOH!!

Ran 4H scrapbookers items to county fair - got a coffee - talked to horseback riding trainer - came home - laundry - dishes - general pick up.

Investigating candle making. Friend is opening up a shop and I thought its something I have always wanted to try - I could sell a few there maybe and help pay for the not so inexpensive hobby of horse showing.

Gearing up for the county fair - pig gets hauled in on Monday - so washing and pressing uniforms, gathering snacks, first aid kits, things for little one to do, etc. Glad my Mom is coming up next week!

PBF--I'm sorry about DH. I know that's a tough diagnosis. You can handle it, though--and you have all of us. . .together, we can accomplish anything!!

SIL is doing some better. DN is still "inside" for now. They let SIL eat some today (first food since yesterday morning). They did an ultrasound and DN is bigger than they originally thought, so that may work in their favor. My brother said the doc said "no more than a week". I'm still thinking tomorrow or this weekend.
