It's The Weekend...Day #1. What ya doing today?

The Lion King on stage was amazing. For once, my DS18 was at a loss for words. We both loved it! The total magnitude of the production, lighting, costumes, lack of props... it was spectacular. The Academy of Music in Philly is a much more intimate theater than Broadway, where I saw it when it first came out. The actors walked right by DS, stood right next to him singing in the isle, and our seats were perfect...except for the woman in front of me with the teased hair, she made some scenes hard for me to see

It's nice to share this love of theater with my boys. DH likes the theater, but never really wants to take the time or money to go. I've so enjoyed the time the boys are spending with their old mama...

My list for today:

Sleep in...didn't get home till after midnight... done

Caffeinate- this repeats everyday!!

Keep to my points!

Swish and Swipe...

Clean kitchen... again... DS21 has takin to making smoothies...nasty vile green things which he leaves the makings for all over my kitchen... we will be talking about this later today...

Morgan has softball practice at 10:00 and then we have no other plans

morning all

I'd planned on sleeping in.... was woken to "Mamma are you up yet" littlest voice of my hunters.

Needless to say Mamma flew out of bed. I know that voice all to well. E got his first Turkey this am with a 20 gauge shot gun. I'm surprised tom didn't have to pick him up off the floor of the treehouse. So all the particulars for the husband hunters out there 19lbs 9" beard and 3/4" spurs I have a very happy hunter. and a very proud big brother who knew that he didn't have a good shot and let his brother take the clean shot.

so on to the day
get dressed (yes I've been all over town in my jammy pants and sweat shirt and glasses no on really sees me in those)
clean kitchen, living room and bathroom.
vac off stairs my house has been sadly neglected I've only done the surface dirt for along time now

that should take the bulk of the day.

Deb so glad you had a great time L was supposed to see it in boston but I kept him home from the bus trip due to a storm they went and most of the kids were scared to death on the way home.
Jennifer have fun at practice ours was canceled due to turkey season

Today:

DH and the younger boys out the door to soccer photos!
Pray the rain stays away or starts now and is done by 3pm..
2:30pm PJ to go get pizza w/ the gang of girls going to prom together
3:30pm PJ home and start getting ready for Prom
5pm meeting w/ all the girl's families for photos
6:30pm the girls are leaving for Prom

My mom is coming up and taking photos too (shock)...but she's bringing me a new cart and her big good camera for me to use now, for graduation and for vacation! Yay me!!

Wow - plays, turkeys, proms...what a fun time!

Busy weekend ahead for us - and the Cricut has already been running this a.m. DS is making some video game-related props/decorations - he did his design in SCAL last night and impatiently waited to do the Cricuting this morning! He's now happily laminating his creations... He's getting scary - the way he knows his way around all these supplies!

It's Saturday, time to leave the Cape.

Slept in as DD was up past 1:30 am last night again.

Lots to do:

Strip beds
dust and clean house
vacuum all floors
wash kitchen floor
pack up van
drive home
unpack van
start working on Mt. Washmore
Watch my DVR'd shows
DIS and get a good nights sleep.

Thanks Debbie. He's a very excited little boy. as soon as youth weekend is over I'll post pics on the farm page. gotta give big brother a chance to get one.
