I'm off today... Off till Monday actually :goodvibes

Today I was supposed to go out with my BFF, but she had to back out. So, now a day to myself... hmmmm... DH is at work today dayshift too, so no interruption or diversion there either.

I have to do a scrapbook thingie for DS18 for school, so going to work on that these days off

Depends on the weather later... I found a cool website that has music with the beat in time with the walk speed. I d/l some songs at the lowest level, which is 3mph. That's the best speed I can do walking... I got alot of latin music, and some oldies that I like :)

Dinner- not sure yet...

Have a Great Day everyone!! :teeth:

Mornin' Debbie.. Sorry you are running late!!!

I've been up and movin' today, however I feel like I didn't sleep.. However, DH said I slept like a log...that I didn't hear the cat come down to be let out nor did I her the water softner kick on to run it's cleaning cycle..and I usually always wake up to that...
I have done over 1/2 of my list already.. Yay! :yay:

Left to do today:
empty dishwasher
re-make my bed
DD to school early for mtg.
drive DS13 to school to turn in egg drop entry

nap til 9:45am
ready

put away laundry
clean scraproom
pick up kdg. student
lunch

finish the above items not done
elem homework duty
dinner out to thaw.. nope it's grilled cheese and soup..
get boys ready for soccer practices
go to DD's track meet
make sure DD is writing journal entries for health project
write mine and DH's summary of DD's health project.. yes, they actually asked the parents to participate for part of the grade.... (assignment: eat dinner together for 3 nights, tell what happens, how everyone liked the atmosphere)... this is something we do every night so it's an easy assignment for us.. even if we eat at 6pm or 8pm..

Should be a quiet day today around here. DH had to go out of town for a day trip and the boys are off to school. No place I have to be until 3:45. I think I might take it easy today.

Boys to school
empty diswasher
one load of :laundy: in the dryer
general pick up around the main floor
make bed
vaccum bathroom and upstairs hallway

exercise
track meet and concessions
dinner - leftovers

Have a great Thursday everyone

Here is my recipe for the Muesli... Adapted from the original Swiss recipe, inspired by DCL...

MÜESLI AND YOGURT
6-8 servings - muesli and yogurt
Ingredients:
2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1 cup milk , 1% or 2%
1 cup Vanilla lowfat yogurt
3 tbs honey
Optional: If you add any of these, increase milk by a bit
Wheat Germ
Wheat Bran
Flax Seed

Optional for serving...dried fruits or fresh fruits

Directions:
1. In a medium sized bowl, combine oats, almonds.

2. Add honey, yogurt and milk and mix well.

3. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.

Nancy - it's always interesting to think about how many families don't eat together any more.. I know that if we're all home (which is basically every night except M & Tu, when I work late, so I miss out), we eat together.

Yet when my friends come over, they always say how nice it is to all sit down and eat together... I was like "You guys don't?"

She IS a great big sister! We are all going to have fun today! DS and I are rolling through CT now (New Haven) on our way to NYC! Reading scrappy mags and enjoying the ride. Will check in later...

Have a great time in NYC!!

Still rainy here today - guessing riding lessons will be cancelled.

Thinking of taking Little One to Barnes and Nobel. Should go to library instead but I have ALOT of gift cards.

Other than that -

Laundry
Scrub one baking sheet
Dinner??
Paper pile on kitchen bar counter
swap items

OK - bought stuff to make smoothies and then remembered - no blender here -DOH!! all my appliances are in storage - don't wanna go down and dig around in there - so anyone have a small - blender type appliance they love? Silver bullet or something similar??

Good Morning...

It's a beautiful day here - was supposed to rain so this is a nice surprise. Got DH off to work.

I slept last night!!! For the first time in about 4 days - God it feels good. Went for a long walk on the beach with my friend Ulla last night, the fresh air and walk most likely helped with the sleep.

Coordinating playdates for the kids - DS has a friend here now and DD has two friends coming over in a little bit.

I am going to let DS (who turns 13 on Sunday) and his BFF (15) walk down to pick up pizza for us at the local Pizza place - this is the first time that he will be doing this (no adult). But I feel OK with it - I have to start letting him spread his wings a little.

Only left for me to do today is laundry...

Have a great day everyone...

We went to the movies. Princess didn't want to go to the zoo, so we went to see How to Train Your Dragon instead. Very cute movie. We saw it in 2D, I'm not a fan of 3D, gives me headaches. :3dglasses

Out for a late lunch/early dinner. First softball practice is tonight - I think we'll go for a bike ride now though.

Hope everyone is having a good day!

Good Afternoon!

We are here at the Dolphin-

still to do today:
walk to Yachtman for dinner
upload photos

tomorrow we are eating at Biergarten for lunch and seeing my sister and kids
Saturday I am here by myself for he day so I am doing the Behind the Seeds tour and taking more flower and garden festival photos

I love my machne from Bed, Bath, and Beynd- it is atually handle with a motor you can put into 4 machines- there is a wisk, a blender (you have to have stuff in a glass and immerse it in that), a mini food chopper, and somehing else (I don't use it). I can check on what it is called and who it is by when I arrive home- I think it may be Oyster is the company.

Thanks, Deb :)

Another gorgeous day on the Cape. MomE left to go home with her dog, and DSIL came with their two dogs.

The most I did today was empty the dishwasher and swept the kitchen floor. DSIL helped me cook dinner. Oops, almost forgot, had a lovely nap with DD mid morning. :goodvibes

Lisa - sounds like you are having a fabulous time!!

Immersion blender - will check it out - Thanks!!

TinkerBean - yay for walks on the beach and sleep!!!
